Extremely fine, 3700+ holes/sqin
Other reviewers have claimed this product has a hole count that would be totally inadequate at "200-mesh" or less than 400 holes per square inch. It's possible this reviewer couldn't see the extremely fine fibers. Due to the weave, the mesh has an appearance at a distance of being coarser than it is - what appear to be single holes are actually between 4-6 holes. Or, perhaps these reviewers received a different product than I did - I received what was pictured, the "Equinox MAT705" netting. The Equinox website claims 3700 holes/sqin, and I believe it, because I took photos in macro mode and counted. My findings (in product photos if you want to doublecheck my work): Around 300 holes in a QUARTER-inch by QUARTER-inch area, which works out to around 4800 holes per square inch. Due to the weave, there are several shapes and sizes of hole in the netting. I measured the area (in pixels, in my photo) of the largest of these. They worked out to roughly 0.00024 square inches in area. A material made with nothing but these largest holes (and infinitely-thin fibers) would fit 4200 of this size of hole per square inch. I'm confident this will stop even the tiniest critters. That said, the dimensions of the total piece are indeed rather small. Enough for a couple smallish windows or one standard house window, but that's all.

This really works!
Bought this awhile back to keep the peace... Due to the amount of small winged pest being drawn in our new slimline evaporative cooler. As it happens, this was installed in our bedroom and the cooler sucked in these small winged beast which really freaked my wife out. In order to save the evaporative cooler idea I had to come up with something fast. This fit the bill perfectly! I just cut it to fit the cooler pad panels on the outside of the frames and presto! No more bugs on the bed. This stopped bugs less than half the size of a gnat (didn't even know these existed before this, found them on the netting)... saved the cooler and a lot of arguing. By the way... this worked for a slim evaporative cooler. You may need more for larger coolers.

Perfect
Just the right size to cover the area inside my rear doors on my 2013 Ford e250 camper van. I used the loop side of hook and loop which had built in adhesive (purchased separately on Amazon) that I adhered to the metal around the opening and the netting attached directly to the loop. I did not bother doing anything to finish the edges of the netting, but it seems to be a tight enough weave that it will not fray (time will tell). This is a light weight netting that could serve many purposes. It rolls up easily if I need it out of the way. I think this will work perfectly to keep the bugs out, including the no see-ums here in Southern AZ. I am very happy with this netting and it was a good value at around $8.

Good quality but smaller than I realized.
Ok so it's got a great weave and hence is perfect for noseeum blocking, however this is a nearly useless item because it's just so small. The description is accurate, please don't get me wrong. Yes, it does accurately measure as described but one doesn't realize just how small that is until the netting is pulled out of the package. I may be able to use this to cover the tent flap to aid in keeping the little flying varmints out of my tent as I enter and exit or maybe drape over the hammock to keep them out of my face, but beyond that, you really do need a larger piece of fabric.

No bug life saver
These were a life saver. I got these for camping and putting on my trailer door openings. I converted my trailer into a camper and haven't put on RV doors yet nor do I have windows so I need something that would keep the bugs out. My kids slept in the trailer and we needed to leave the doors open for air flow. I rigged up a frame and attached these netting to it and they held. So they are pretty durable because my kids were in and out of the trailer constantly. I wish that they had a bigger size because this netting was too short for my doors so I had to tape two together. But I didn't remove a star because I knew what I was buying and knew it wouldn't be big enough with just one net. The width is a little bigger than what is stated on the package (at least the three that I got anyways). I will try to find some netting that covers a larger area by itself without having to attach two together, but if I can't find any then I'll be purchasing more of these.

HIGH QUALITY VERY FINE MESH - note that all edges are cut but not bound. Good for all kinds of uses...very happy! :)
This product was tough to get my hands on (sold out everywhere), so I ordered four (4). As described, the edges are NOT BOUND, just raw cut. It feels durable and one can easily bind the edges if needed. I wanted to use it to protect my dog from biting insects when we go camping. Its generous size covers the opening to my Tacoma truck bed under a high-rise camper shell with the hatch up and the tailgate down, with plenty of extra fabric all around. I was going to sew Cordura nylon webbing or binding material over the edge and also circles with magnets inside so I could attach it to my truck with ease, but...decided that was a lot of work without a sewing machine, so I used binder clips to clip the top to the shell hatch frame, and it drapes nicely. The weave is definitely fine enough to keep out no-see-ums! I intended one as described, was going to cut a second one in two and use magnets to keep bugs out of my driver and passenger windows in the summer heat, another for the windows of a trailer I plan to get, and the 4th for a spare, lol. I'll find a use for it! My research and reading tons of review and blogs taught me about the magnet circles. Some people use super tough duct tape circles to encase magnets (faster than sewing but sticky over time, I would imagine). Great product!

Awesome!

Excellent product. Sewing into a garment was a bit tricky because of the slippery nature of the netting. French seams seemed to work best.

I got it to put on my camper window screen in areas with noseeums.

I used this to replace screen in my camper to prevent no-see-ums from coming in. It will definitely stop them. Air doesn't pass through as well but I guess that is to be expected. As a result I only did a couple of windows and left most with regular screen for better air flow. If I stay somewhere with the no-see-ums I can just open the windows with this product.

This keeps out tiny bugs but why sell only a 5โ length?! No use for a screen door. Please at least cut it long enough to fit a door screen.
