Stansport Coliseum Seat

After the NFL caved in to domestic terrorism and changed their policy on stadium seats, I had to put aside my really cool seats with storage pockets and get some simplified seats. These fit the bill. Price was excellent, and unlike the last set of seats, these were fabric, not plastic with heat sealed seams that come apart in the cold weather. Used them at the Packer Game and not only were the seats light to carry and comfortable to sit in, the Pack won! Only down side was that they were advertised as green and grey. One came that way and one came green and gold. My wife didn't mind though, because she took the green and gold one, and she said now she can tell hers from mine. Go figure.

This seat arrived with a screw missing from the frame that attaches the seat back to the bottom. It has a nice cushion but the reason I bought it was to have the back support, which is useless if the back isn't attached to the seat bottom correctly. I'm returning for a replacement so we'll see if the new one is put together correctly or not. Hopefully, this was just bad luck and a defective one rather than a normal occurance.

This seat is really good. The seat is thick and the back is sturdy. I'm bigger than the seat but it is still comfortable. My only problem with it is the hook thing that is supposed to keep it steady on the bleacher. It came apart the first time I used it. It didn't break; my husband fixed it in 30 seconds. In fact I find that I don't even need it so I don't even use it anymore.

These seats are small for the average adult. Neither my husband nor I are overweight (hubby is 6'4", 195 pounds, tall and slim) but the seats were too small. Though they are cushioned nice and made well. I am giving 4 stars because the product is good, but should be stated for youths or small adults (though I admit I should have looked more closely at the dimensions). Amazon promptly authorized a return at no charge- I love Amazon; have ordered many items and will continue to do so.

We bought it for my daughter who is 50 lbs to use at home as a reading chair in a tight space. Works well for this range. I am 100 lbs and it feels a bit flimsy already. One of the screws under the chair came off because the thread was galled. We kept it, figured that we won't be transporting it anywhere.

I purchased two of the stadium chairs. As soon as my husband sat on his, it bent backwards and broke. He is a large man...6'1" 230 lbs but we certainly didn't expect that. I used mine a few times (probably 5 or 6 at basketball games) and this past Saturday, the piece that attaches to the bleachers popped off while in use causing the seat to fly backwards.While the heavy cushioning is very comfortable, they are very cheaply made and a complete waste of money. I do not recommend.

Very disappointed in the quality of these.1. When you clip it onto the bleachers, the whole seat leans really far forward, so you need to have your feet firmly planted on something in front of you to push yourself back into a comfortable position.2. The clip is a finger pinch waiting to happen--in my case, it almost pinched my 3 year old's fingers. I got lucky it didn't.3. The very first night i used mine, I clipped it on the bleacher, and the screws popped right out. The whole clip flew off, the screws were lost, and the fabric ripped. I am a 130 lb woman, so it's not like the weight should have been the problem, either.If you are looking for quality stadium seats, look elsewhere!

There is a spring hook on the bottom which kind of holds the seat to the bleacher. And the seat does okay if you don't move in the bleacher but who isn't going to move. When you do, the hook sometimes leaves the bleacher. Then you have to try to get it back on while sitting or just place the chair on top of the bleacher.

Much better to place on a backless bench or chair than on the ground to watch a concert. .but either way it did the job of supporting the back
