This food dehydrator has been a really useful addition in the kitchen. The first thing that stands out is the size and build. The stainless steel design feels sturdy and well made, and the trays slide in and out easily. Having plenty of trays means you can prepare a good amount of food at once, which is helpful if you’re drying fruit, vegetables or making batches of jerky. It does a good job of drying food evenly. The airflow seems well distributed throughout the unit, so everything dries at a similar pace without needing to constantly move trays around. The controls are simple to use thanks to the clear display, and setting the time and temperature only takes a moment. Once it’s running it quietly gets on with the job in the background. Cleaning it afterwards is also quite manageable. The trays come out easily and can be washed without much effort, which makes the whole process more convenient after a longer drying session. Overall it’s a practical appliance that makes it easy to prepare homemade dried foods and snacks without much fuss.

This 12 tray food dehydrator is surprisingly lightweight. Metal frame and it has built in handles either side so was really to lift around. Its fairly narrow and not super deep either so it would easily fit on a worktop with space in front. The mesh trays are compact and slide in easily and the kit also comes with these sort of rubbery mesh sheets which I presume is to put on the trays to make them easier to clean? It doesn't mention them in the instructions so it's hard to know. The fans at the back are fairly quiet. Settings are easy to work out and I didn't even need the instructions. I also like that there is a lock on the side - helpful with kids around. Nice machine. 12 trays so although they are smaller they will do a similar amount to another one I have which has less trays but is wider and deeper.
