I picked up this PS5 Edge controller cover replacement for my daughter, who loves pink. The set includes replacement pieces along with tools, which made installation fairly easy. She really likes the grip the material provides and how it makes the controller less slippery during use. Our only complaint is the price. At $26.99, these pieces only cover part of the controller, and it does not feel like the best value, especially for an aftermarket accessory.

I unfortunately ordered this thinking it would fit my controller, but I don't have an "edge" controller sadly! These pieces are well-made hard plastic and the coloring is flawless. Instructions were easy to read and installation, fit, and button responsiveness would've been a breeze had my controller been correct. These have me wanting to buy an expensive controller just to personalize it! Great value for this.

I bought this specifically because it’s advertised as being compatible with a PS5 controller, but unfortunately, it doesn’t fit at all. Not “a little off” or “needs adjusting”—it genuinely doesn’t line up or snap on in any usable way. I tried multiple times thinking maybe I was doing something wrong, but it quickly became clear that this just isn’t designed correctly for a standard PS5 controller. Because of that, I wasn’t able to actually use it, so I can’t speak to long-term durability or comfort. But at the end of the day, none of that really matters if it doesn’t fit the device it’s made for.

I had the same issue most have with this $200 controller (which is insane that it’s an issue in the first place!) that the back pads started coming off. This looked like a great alternative to put on and resolve the problem. It’s ALMOST the perfect solution. The problem is the plastic is very soft. If you don’t install absolutely correctly the first time, it will bend the plastic knobs and it will never fit in place properly. Luckily, the back is flush, so it doesn’t affect how it feels, but knowing it will never be flush is a little frustrating. Usually I’d say taking it slow would resolve the issue, but there are almost 20 points of connection on the back panel so you really have to be quick about installing all at once, or one half won’t fit properly, and you have to start over. The grip is nice, and overall it feels quality on the hand, I just wish the plastic connectors were a bit sturdier.

Since this is just a cosmetic shell, sound quality isn’t really affected, but all buttons and features continue to function normally with no rattling or interference. Overall, a great option if you want an affordable and stylish replacement — just be aware the front piece could be a little sturdier.
