I work in a Senior facility and food service is required to put liquids in sealed containers. We’ve had quite a number of pitchers and somehow the lids kept disappearing! It’s only been a week since food service has been using them but 1) the neck is easier to get a grip on and 2) they haven’t lost a lid!! At just about $4.00 per bottle the quality is excellent and I think a great value for the price.

It’s ok

These are pretty straightforward plastic carafes. They look like plastic, feel like plastic, nothing fancy about them. They are taller than you might expect and can be hard to fit in the fridge, though the square footprint is kind of nice for not wasting space like round containers. The plastic is really thin and very cheap feeling, but seems to hold up well enough. Of course, these are "hand wash only" which is kind of a pain and tells you the plastic won't hold up to much heat. 50oz is kind of a random size. Even shrinkflation has only shrunk beverage containers from the old 64oz half gallons down to 52oz "maybe they won't notice it's smaller" cartons. So don't pour a full container of anything into one of these. But they will work fine for things like ice tea where you can make it in whatever amount, or for divvying up large batches of beverages. Though a gallon of anything would require 2 and a half of these. Personally, for $20 I would rather have a single glass carafe than 4 cheapo plastic ones, but if you need 4 carafes like this for some purpose and don't want to spend more than $5 each, then this set will probably work for you.
