These are a lovely lightweight little pair of toddler shoes. The open texture of the mesh uppers allows plenty of air circulation and the bumpers on the front protect little toes. The soles are flexible and give a good grip, and although not very thick they feel strong and reasonably durable. The insoles are shaped slightly, and the cushioning is firm enough for good stability. The width is generous and allows toddlers feet to spread out naturally and comfortably. The shoes are very quick and easy to put on and take off thanks to the velcro fastening. It's strong enough to hold in place firmly. The tops are firmly bonded to the soles with no sign of any excess glue. They're lovely summer shoes and I think they're ideal for going to the beach or playing in the garden. Great for holidays. Any splashes and the mesh will dry quickly, but I'm not sure about total water immersion as I feel that the insoles would take a lot longer. Overall a nice practical little pair of shoes, fit for purpose and, at a good value price.

Being a mesh fabric they are suitable for environments such as the beach as there is no problem with them getting wet. The soles are so much better than many beach shoes which are sometimes only made of a thicker fabric on the base and offer no real under the foot protection. These have a light weight but more substantial sole with built in grip on the base. The shoes are wide to allow for a more natural walking position but stay on with the slightly adjustable Velcro fastening. Well made, good value and very useful.
