These are the perfect fit for the acrylic tubes for which I putchased the caps. They serve the purpose well. The only reservations, which I knew going in, have to do with durability. This is flexible, lightweight plastic, so longevity and utility could be issues. These items may not last a long time, if left in place as tops and bottoms for storage tubes. If one of them is removed and replaced any number of times, the plastic could split. Having used items made of this form of plastic before, I am aware of the fragility of these caps. However, the cost is almost low enough to overlook such potential weaknesses. In sum, for now, these are good products, they fit well, and serve the purpose.

You don't want dirt and grass falling into the water wash out on your lawn equipment. This cap will prevent that happening, but mine were just slightly loose. I corrected that by putting a 3/16 inch band of shrink wrap around the middle of the cap and shrinking it. Left the band on for a week, then cut it off. The result is that the cap is easy to remove but stays in place while mowing.

I was building a lumber rack using conduit inserted into two-by-fours. It is simple and strong, but the sharp end of the conduit was dangerous. I tried a couple other caps to cover the ends, but the fit was not good - these worked out perfectly. These are an inexpensive way to add a nice/safe touch to anything you might build from conduit.
