Great Air Hockey Table for Young Children
Bought as a gift for four active children ages 11, 8, 6 and 4. The table is the perfect size for these ages. The 4 year old can still see the table and is able to play versus the 11 year old, despite their stark difference in size. As a 6'3" adult, the table is rather small. I'd expect the table to be good size for anyone up to 5'6" or so - or about 13-15 years old. Construction is straightforward and the completed table is very sturdy. The air flow is decent and keeps the puck afloat anywhere on the table. The operating fan is small, but runs rather quiet considering the amount of air it pushes. The digital scoreboard is cheap, but does the trick. The only complaint is that there is a small gap (about 1/8 inch) between the guard rail and the table that the puck can sometimes get stuck between if any amount of pressure is placed on the table (increasing the gap to 1/4 inch) or if the puck is hit at high velocities against it and wedged between. This only occurs on the short guard rails on each of the players' sides, and not the long sides of the table. I'm sure I could rig a fix, but I'm just describing the product out of the box.

Major Disappointment
I was so excited to receive this for my nephews for Christmas. It is a large box and it took the UPS guy and his helper to shove it in the door for me. I slid it in and leaned it up against the wall. The box was pretty dinged up but it didn't appear to be anything severe. My husband took the item to set it up on Christmas eve. Upon opening it, he discovered a hole in the top of the table. It was probably about the size of one of the pucks. Upon further inspection, there was a similar hole in the box. Amazon has been wonderful. They are having UPS pick up the box (on the next business day) which did not happen and I have already received notification of the replacement being on the way. So while Amazon is standing behind the product/transaction, I still had no Christmas gift for two little boys...

Fun little air hockey table
This is a fun little air hockey table for the money! It was easy to assemble, 45 min total. The kids (12-13 yrs old) love to play with it, even the adults. It seems very sturdy and works well. I would highly recommend.

An excellent table--well worth the money
This is an excellent product. The assembly instructions were simple and direct--only 5 steps to follow. The assembly diagrams were clear. One nice thing is that the bolts, washers and screws were all in separate plastic bags so you didn't have to rummage through a big bag of parts to separate out what you were going to need. Also, there were pre-drilled holes in the legs where the leg panels are installed with screws at the ends of the table(step 3); this was very helpful. Be sure not to over-tighten the screws as you're screwing into a composite board of some sort, not actual wood. Another suggestion is that when attaching the "leg braces" on the sides (step 4), be sure that the built-in "nut" (which is the "female" part into which the bolt goes and which is imbedded in the brace itself) faces the INSIDE of the table. That way, as you tighten the bolt you are drawing the "nut" into the brace as opposed to pulling it out which wouldn't be good. My wife and I played a bit on the table and it works great. The puck flows freely and the score board works fine. The table is reasonably heavy and sturdy and should be able to withstand the expected abuse of children. At this point, I am very satisfied with this table. We are having the grandkids (7 of them) over for Christmas and will try to update this review once those rascals put the table to the real test.

Starter game to see if your kids like air hockey
Pro's: 1. Already mostly assembled (About 75% assembled). Dad was happy about that. smiles 2. Sturdy once assembled, but Don't Lean on it. 3. My kids said that it was good enough, for now. Cons: 1. Made of 100% pressed Cardboard, no wood (You get what you pay for in America) 2. Air Hockey puck and paddles are very small. About the size of a tennis ball. This is really for Kids 10 years old and younger.. 3. It is difficult to score in this game versus a "real" air-hockey game. I am guessing it is difficult to score because of what the materials of the table top is made of. Not the same materials as a "real" air-hockey table top 4. Did I say cardboard? I HATE cardboard. Lots of cardboard. And, don't let it get wet. In closing, I consider this item as a starter game to see if your kids like air hockey. If your kids like air hockey, then I suggest going in person to buy a real air hockey game for your basement/game room.

Fun table, but ....
This table is providing a great deal of fun for my family. My four grandsons, 6 - 10 love it. I even like it. However... The electronic scorer does not work. It worked the day it was put together; but since then, does not. It seems to have a mind of its own. Also, the device cannot be turned off without unscrewing the backplate, draining the battery. I paid more for this table, hoping all problems the other tables had would not occur with this one; but the complaints others had about other tables are my complaints. Yes, the puck often flies off the table, but only when it is hit very hard, so I can live with this problem, and calling out the score also works. However paying for an electronic scoring device that does not work, well, that's a "bummer!" I suppose getting a less-expensive table, especially now during the Christmas season, would have sufficed, but they are never on display at the stores; so I ordered this one.
