Good construction and nice touches such as magnetic latches for holding it together. The wires protrude and you have to plug them into your phones manually, though the aesthetics are definitely a winner in our house: minimal dangling coils of wires. This works very well with multiple devices, we have 2 iphones and 2 ipads (1 mini) and they all fit easily. The biggest concern is trying to minimize the number of adapters - not an issue with this design at all and hence why this is still 5 stars. To solve this, I bought a couple of the Monoprice 4-port USB Wall Charger 4.2A for Apple and Android, Black . That can charge a couple of ipads or 4 phones (2 apple, 2 android-based) on fast charge. Others may have better suggestions, though we needed this organizer to be sitting on a dresser in front of a wall socket (ie. a mass of chargers would have needed to move the dresser out unnaturally). Overall, a great design that works well for the many-device household. Just remember that you don't get cables or chargers with this. Just use what you're already using. Exactly as advertised. One of us dropped it as we transferred it from the table to the landing strip where we wanted to house it permanently. The two compartments separated (magnetic) but did not break. Also, the fall happened on thick carpet. Well designed and cleverly paired, the item assembled back together just fine...no cracks or any other issues. It hides our cord clutter and organizes our favorite digital items easily: our two phones, a small palm-sized hard drive, an iPad, and a MacBook. Super happy with the shipping speed and the quality of the organizer, and also with the much cleaner look we have for our landing strip. Love this charging station. Super helpful for getting screens on one place, which also helps me know if anyone is maybe sneaking in extra screen time without me needing to constantly check up on the kiddos when they are playing quietly. We’ve had a number of compliments on how it looks. I love how it keeps the cords hidden and helps keep the desktop tidy. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it were easier to push the cords back in when they get pulled out. For example, if my phone is charging and I want to pick it up to send a text then the cord gets pulled out and I have to cram it back in...that or I have to hunch over the desk to use the phone while it’s plugged in. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could. Def recommend.

I looked at the reviews of these stations (metal, wood) and really liked the look of this one. Got an ankar 6 port, Okray colored usbs (so I know which is which), and put it all together (fits just tight enough, but carry it FROM THE BOTTOM or risk your electronics hitting the floor. I have everything incl. laptops, phones, lighters, headphones, earpieces, recorders - all which need charging, and this displays and organizes them beautifully. I put this on a big Belkin surge protector (12 plugs, single on/off switch, indicator light) so my toys are safe from electrical issues. (I live in an area famous for surges & lightening strikes; use them all over the house, esp. in the kitchen (breadmakers, microwaves, etc.) and study. Uses them for at least 15 years; never lost a computer, microwave, tv, breadmaker, treadmill or anything else due to power surges or lightening strikes (I live in an area where we have these frequently.) If I travel, I can flick the belkin off or unplug it; no fires, no losses, no worries.

I have been searching for way too long for a solution to storing and charging the multiple small electronics in my home, and I'm happy to report that Great Useful Stuff solved the problem for me. This stand has replaced my previous BlueFinger-3222826 stand that needed a few adjustments to work for my situation, and I'm finally a happy camper. For instance, one slot is wide enough to hold two 2nd Generation iPads in their cases, another slot easily holds my laptop, and the front slot can hold three phones or another iPad. I purchased the Anker PowerPort 5 charging hub and stowed it away in the base of the stand. It fits perfectly. I'm able to have 5 cords plugged into it and all electronics are charging perfectly. The top section of the stand is held to the bottom by small magnets in the corners, and it sturdy enough for the weight of iPads and a laptop. The tangled mess of cords that were previously dropping from the electronics to the plug have now been replaced by the one single cord to the Anker PowerPort. You will find some short charging cords to purchase on the Amazon site, but I was able to use the longer originals and just tuck the excess under the handy elastic straps that come attached to the interior of the base. My stand is the wooden one pictured above and the wood is attractive and smooth, and looks nice with my family room decor. I researched these for days before finally gambling on this one, and for the price, in comparison to others that were similar, this stand is an affordable winner!

Love this product. We had another one not made with the same material and it fell apart after a while; also collected dust and dirt and was hard to clean. This one is much sturdier, and easier to wipe down and clean!

The look of this charging station is nice and well constructed but so far it's not working for us. I bought this along with an Anker speed desktop charger with the never ending hope of reducing cord clutter. Intent was to use it to charge an ipad, 2 galaxy cell phones and a fitbit charge and occasional laptop. It works fine for ipad and laptop since the cords come out the side. The biggest problem is with the cell phones. As another reviewer posted, the phones don't sit upright while charging, especially if you've tried to cram all of the cords inside the box. Samsung is using a new charger that while fast is a pain in the arse to plug in without having about 5 inches sticking out of the charging station. With all the cords wrapped to fit in the bottom box, there's no easy way to feed the cord back in so the phones just flop over. We're keeping the charging station and playing with different configurations - most definitely going to need to keep the Anker outside of the box for it to work for us or purchase shorter charging cords for all.

I am not sure how people can hate this. It is so simple. It required no setup and the magnets that hold the bottom compartment on are strong. I literally did zero work for this product to help me out so much in my everyday life. It clears up my desk clutter and charges my electronics. Plus, it looks and feels quality for the price without paying a crazy amount for such a simple concept. I use an ipad air, an iphone 6s, and an iphone 7. Because I work from home, my work and personal electronic have to mix but stay organized. This holds them all. I dont have a problems with it not holding phones or anything like others have mentioned.

This is simply a stand, but an awesome, versatile one. We have 3 kids of 4, 10 and 16. The kids have to leave their devices in the kitchen overnight. We expect the devices to change/evolve over the years. This stand is perfect. Your charge cables enter the back, held in place by the band in the base of the stand so they stay put when unplugged for the next use. We’ll change the chargers and/or cables as the devices evolve over the years. The stand has place/will hold comfortably 3 MacBooks, or 3 iPads, and 3 iPods/iPhones. The math works for us. The stand is well built, sturdy, and has served us well for the last 3 months.
