Great introduction to mixing good drinks
The quality is pretty good. I don't see this as a set that I'll have for years or anything. But I've been so interested in making mixed drinks and I felt completely overwhelmed whenever I looked at at recipes, until I got this. I say this as someone who doesn't know all that much about alcohol. (I even wasn't sure if triple sec, grenadine, and other mixers were alcoholic or not lol.) Anyway, I just got some midrange alcohol (around $20 or less for a bottle) and a bunch of the mixtures at Walmart in 12oz bottles for $2.37. I'm only missing like one alcohol (gin) and apple schnapps. But I was able to do 3 of the 5 recipes without those. The kamikaze, cosmopolitan, and electric lemonade. My husband and I really enjoyed the last two, and understood why kamikaze had it's name when I took a sip lol. Anyway, we were able to basically set up and stock our own mini-bar for less than $100 with this. (We got generic products to save money and I happened to get a deal on this, since I got it in "like new" condition, but your numbers could likely be very similar.) The measurements on the side and recipes are so easy to follow! Even after being a bit intoxicated. I wasn't sure if we'd end up using this more than once or twice, but after trying it out I'm really looking forward to classing up my drinks instead of just mixing liquor with some juice or soda and calling it a day, because it's honestly almost just as easy but with better results. Also just as a little note, instead of sour mix or sweet and sour mix (same thing), you can just do half simple syrup and half lemon and/or lime juice. Simple syrup is easy to make and also cheap to buy. Oh also, I made a checklist on my phone of all of the ingredients it required, reading right from the recipes on the cup. That's how I made sure I got everything I wanted. Otherwise it'd be easy to buy things not in the recipes or leave stuff out.

Does the job I need it to do.
I received this bar set a few days ago and and already used it 4 times. I like the way everything is in one place and it looks good on my bar. The quality is just fine, not top notch but you aren't paying for the highest or best quality. It is worth the price and more. The shaker consists of a metal tumbler and a glass that fits inside when stored. It will form a tight seal while shaking if you push it down to the first black line on the glass, and nothing leaks. I like the double sided jigger, 1 oz. and 2 oz. takes the guesswork out and no need to pour twice. Not sure why one poster called it "cheap" but it fits my bill. Unless you are a professional bartender and mix tons of drinks this one will do the job just fine.

Great for a starter set. Professions will want higher quality though
My wife recently discovered the wonders that are Mexican Martinis here in Austin, TX. Unfortunately, it becomes very expensive heading out to restaurants on a nightly basis just so she can enjoy her favorite alcoholic drink. We have decided to start making her drink at home but required a cocktail set up to properly create the drink of her choice. For this task, we tapped the Oggi Pro Stainless Steel 10 Piee Cocktail set up. Appearance-Wise, this item blends in seamlessly with the rest of our kitchen as most of our items have the black & stainless steel theme going on. The set included everything required for us to make her Mexican Martini drinks. I can tell that not all the items are top notch but, for the price and convince of grouping all needed items to make drinks in one bulk package, it is worth it. The shaker is not the greatest design but it gets the job done. It was some trial and error as I caused i to leak some. In fact, when I was learning, my wife joked more drink ended up flying in the air than being poured in the glass. The knife is not exactly the sharpest but it will cut. I ended up using my set of culinary knives placed off to the side to do the tasks that called for a knife. Overall, a great starter set but, if you are serious drink mixer, you may want to look at more expensive, durable, and higher quality sets. This is best for learners or once in a blue moon uses.

Great, Fun Set
This set is great. I have used it a couple dozen times and The shaker has not leaked a single drop, I think it has for other people do to improper use. All the pieces look great. I will agree that the knife will not cut any sort of citrus but you should have a nice paring knife on hand anyways. other than that this set is great. Great for the price. As far as some saying the glass looks cheesy because of the recipes on it, you cant see the glass when its in the stainless part of the shaker, so it's not really bothersome at all. All in all great for everything I have thrown at it and looks perfect atop my minibar.

So happy I finally got this!
I see why some of the other reviews say it's "cheap". The stand it sits in is a little bit cheap, yes. That being said, what you actually get for your money is a great value. I love the Boston cocktail shaker! It works extremely well. The seal on it is extremely tight. The double sided-shot jigger with a handle is awesome. The strainer is high quality. Honestly, all the other parts of the set are high quality and I absolutely love them! The only "cheap" feeling part is the stand, but who cares? It's just a stand! I have been wanting this FOREVER and am so happy to have finally added it to my bar!

Happy Home Bartender!
All the tools you need, in one handy place! It looks great on my bar good and the quality of the pieces for this kind of money can't be matched. I considered a few options and went with Oggi and I'm glad I did. No issues with the shaker like I've read in other reviews. Use it correctly and it will treat you well.

Good set up
I'm no bartender but in my new apartment there's a little "Bar" window that I plan on making the most of. I wanted a fairly price cocktail set to make some mixed drinks for company. Amazon Prime 2-day shipping was excellent, ordered Wednesday morning, received Friday afternoon. Had to get the plug for Amazon in there. ;) The unit itself has all the basic tools. Only complaints are, I would have prefered the shaker to have a lid, which it actually has a convient class inlay with measurements on it. While this is nice when you want to shake it, it's about 10 inches long, and the rubber grommit is a bit of a hassle to mess with. A quick lid is more effiecent. My second complain is the jigger doesn't have the measurements on it, so if you're like me and not sure how much "3/4oz" is for making your Long Islands, this isn't going to be very easy to figure out. However, it was nicely packaged and everything functions as it should for a ~30 dollar setup, can't go wrong.

Bar Tool Set
I found this product to be very good for the price. It operates very well with the only problem coming from the rubber seal around the glass that does not want to stay in place. That is OK though since the bond between the glass and the metal is fine. On a couple of reviews that had problems with leakage, I submit that they were just using it improperly. You have to shake it with the metal portion in the downward side as the glass fits INSIDE the metal portion. Also, concerning the trouble with getting them apart, just a slight tap on a counter top at the point where the glass and metal are sealed and the two will move sideways and come apart. Just seems to be a bit of uneducated usage that led to the negative comments. All in all, this it a great product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone.
