Bought for my husband. Works really well! My husband feels it’s a Good quality for price and brand. He’s a big fan of Dewalt so it surprised him that it worked soo well. Not too powerful. Got the job done with ease.

Got the first one and immediately had an issue with the locknut not releasing the drill bit. I used the wrench and the nut would come completely off but the bit was still locked into place. I tried using it with the bit I installed and it worked fine for the first 3-4 times that I used it, then the on/off button stopped working. Sometimes it would start, other times it would not. I returned it and got another one. I checked and the locknut worked properly. Time will tell if the on/off button works as it should.

Slowly but surely working on finishing the basement in our home. This has made cutting drywall a breeze! Slap a nice DeWalt battery on here and my inexperienced self can cut an outlet hole with no issue! Works pretty straight forward. I am torn on the toggle on and off button but all in all I probably would rather the toggle that this has instead of a triggered power button. Also greatly appreciate the light on the end for working in a relatively unlit basement.

Love it. Beats DeWalt's price by mile. I don't think I will buy DeWalt's OEM stuff ever again.

Ill say. It works and gets the job done.(1st day in use) hopefully it last longer. I read some of other reviews and yes at some point buttons feels low quality and might be easy to break!! But if y’all upgrade this to a better hard material. Might be a great replacement since milwua havent even updated their current drywall tools. Battery doesnt drain ofc. The only missing⭐️ for this review might be the material quality. (4/18/25):i have the tool and still working . Im happy with it.

I’m writing this review to warn buyers about the problems I encountered with this tool. Since my return window has closed and cannot contact the manufacturer, I have to rig this thing to work again. From the start, I had issues with the on/off switch but just ignored it. Now I have to press it 50-100 times to get it to actually work. I should have returned it from the beginning. I know the motor is good but darn this is annoying. Also, the button to press to lock the anvil to replace the bit blew off along with the spring so I have to rig that as well. Just spend the extra money on the actual dewalt router and save yourself the grief. This product should be removed as it is horrible. Definitely would not recommend!
