Nine West Women's Short-Sleeve Fit-And-Flare Dress

This is my first Nine West dress purchase so I was skeptical about the sizing. I've done enough online clothes ordering and know that the same size in all brands does not fit the same. Normally I wear a size 4 in most dresses but I ordered a size 2 because the design of the dress is flare and the accent is on the upper bodice with the seams/lines. This dress is not fitted on me and based on what I can see on the model it's not supposed to be fitted. I'm 5'5" and weighs 113-116lbs, 34B bust and the length is barely above my knee although I wish it was about an inch above my knee. The material is very nice, no wrinkles. The sleeves are a good length and the arm holes fit well. I love this dress and plan to wear it for an up coming wedding.

I was so excited when I got the dress. It's true what the other reviews said, the color pops out at you. It was a little darker pink than pictured, more like fuchsia. But when I put it on, I was swimming in it! The waist particularly is way too large. I like the fabric and I like the color, so I will keep it and just pay for it to be altered.PRO: Nice sturdy thick good quality fabric. Color is pretty, although not exactly what I pictured.CON: Very large for its size, especially at the waist. It makes me look like a blob. Alteration costs will drive up the price!UPDATE. It costs $40 to alter this dress. So this dress totally costed me $94. Oh boy!

Everyone at work told me how cute I looked and loved the dress, it's a bit big but I can deal with that. The thing I didn't like where the sleeves. Picture shows short sleeves. Mine has cap sleeves. My arms are not big but it was really tight under the arms. I cut the inside seam and it felt better but I can't figure out how the dress is a size too big yet the sleeves were super tight and way shorter than shown. I like the dress but it's not like the picture and the cap sleeves are awful. Fabric is a little strange feeling and the dress itself is heavy. But I did get a lot of complements.

This dress is super cute, and the pink color really pops. The fabric is textured, which doesn't show in the photo. The bust area was a little tight on me, but I think it was the pleating that made it look that way. It fits very true to size.

I love the color, the tailoring, the fabric. Everything. However, it does run a bit large. I would recommend that, especially if you are between sizes, you go with the smaller size.

The dress is beautiful but the pink is very bright. I love the material.

This dress is a perfect fit and very flattering. The color is brighter than what is shown. It is more of a vibrant blue, very lovely. So glad I purchased this. I know that it will be in a regular rotation on my wear-list.
