Beach Rays Womens Boardshort Swimwear

I have been searching for board shorts that have a longer inseam for several years now. I have finally found them in these shorts. They are a little longer than I wanted, I was looking for a 6" inseam, but I am ok with that. I ordered the size 6 but wasn't sure how they would fit as I am between a 4 and a 6 normally. They are a little big in the waist, but I am not sure the 4 would fit well, so I will deal with them as they are. I would have given them 5 stars if the tie at the waist was a full draw-string, not just ornamental. I will probably still buy at least 1 more pair of these shorts before summer is over. Thanks for making a pair of shorts that are more than 3" long!

I was searching for some board shorts to wear this summer - I live in Florida and I like to be able to get wet! I read the reviews for these, bought the wrong size (I've gained a few lbs and bought too big) - I love free returns, it encourages my online clothing shopping without fear!! Reordered correct size, got them in 2 days (love Prime!) and ordered 2 more colors as soon as I tried these on. Versatile, great length for activity, secure pockets for $$, credit cards, look cute as shorts, and handles water fine - I like the flexibility (vs. changing into a bathing suit bottom). Washes up well in the washer. If they had a slight stretch to them, I'd give 5 stars... right now I'd rate them 4 to 4.5 stars, but would certainly buy again!

The shorts are great length, great fit (I wear size 12 pant and ordered the same size in short) and great quality. The velcro closure comes undone when I sit, but I'm sure if I lost that 5 lbs that I gained on vacation this would not be an issue! LolThere is an insert of fabric in the fly so even if the velcro comes undone nothing is exposed. The quality of the fabric is great, it's thick enough to comfortably wear as shorts and light enough to swim in and dry quick when wet. The length is perfect for me as I'm pear shaped and don't look good in short shorts or shorts that are too long.

....the waist is too loose on me. The size chart says to get a size 8 if you have a 29-inch waist. Well, I have a 30-inch waist, but almost always wear a size 8, so I decided to go for it. Weirdly, the waist is still too loose on me (but, using a safety pin does the job). The rest of the shorts fit great around the hips & thighs and the brown color looks terrific on. The quality of the material and sewing is very good. The pockets are great in terms of size and functionality - they are attractive looking, and the velcro seals perfectly.

I bought these for kayaking. I don't really feel comfortable wearing them without a bikini bottom underneath, but that's just me. I may be overly concerned about unintentional crotch-shots. I'm on the low-end of the size 6 scale, bought a size 6, and it fits just as expected. The laces can tighten them up, but only a little. If you pull these above your belly button and tighten the laces there, they won't go as far down your legs as in the picture - so if that's a thing for you, consider where you have them on your hips before complaining. They're board shorts - they're meant to be low on your hips, below the belly button, just like in the picture.I like the pockets - I stuck a Cliff Bar in them for easy access while in my kayak. Useful.

I like these shorts but if you have bigger thighs like me go with a size bigger than you normally would wear. I wear an 8 and when I got them they fit but were way too tight for my comfort. So I reordered a size 10 and they are great. When wet though they are hard to pull up and down so keep that in mind too. Over all I love the length and they work for what I need them too so that's why I gave them a 4 out of 5 stars.

I had been pretty worried that the size I bought was going to be too small. I have a 33" waist and I got size 12. However, when they arrived it was clear that I would be just fine. They are a bit large and sit more on my hips (which is fine by me). I am also fairly short (5'4") and they come down to me, which works great for me, but might be a bit long for others. I have yet to have then in the water, but they wore nicely around the house.

I am 5'8'' and weight 175 pounds. i have an hourglass figure with full hips and legs. the 14 fit me great. i also bought a 12, and they fit, but are not as loose and comfy as the 14's. I usually wear a 12 in shorts when buying from target or kohl's. I like these. i would have not minded if they fell closer to the knee, but they are NOT short. they fall about where the picture shows. ---
