Look and fit great
These are very light-weight and excellent running shoes. I use my own insole that I purchased from the walking company. My insole can make most shoes somewhat heavy, but these shoes are so light that it doesn't bother me at all. I have had these shoes for over a year now and they have held up great. I have worked out with them 3-6 times a week and there are no holes or significant signs of wear. I am very impressed with the lightweight design and will continue to buy this brand of shoes. Nike has always made my favorite shoes. Not only do they make comfortable, lightweight shoes, they look awesome too! I would recommend this product and I look forward to buy my next pair of Nike shoes.

Great shoe, definitely worth the purchase
My second pair of Nike Men's Free 5.0 shoes! Definitely my favorite running shoe to date. They fit my feet perfectly and provide ample support (I have wide feet with a low arch). They're lightweight and very stylish, IMHO. I prefer shoes with alower heel flap so that it doesn't dig into the back of my heel when I plant my feet. I'll definitely obtain another pair of these if still available....

Extremely comfortable work out shoes!
Previous to the purchase shoes, I decided to get an off brand version of running shoes from a local store to avoid the high cost of work out shoes. Oh, did I make the biggest mistake ever! I noticed that after a few miles around the block or at the gym my feet began to hurt. And so I began to look for the perfect pair of shoes that were light, comfortable to wear all day, and provided the proper support for me when I'm working out. These matched and surpassed all expectations. They are extremely comfortable to wear and the thin, but sturdy, material used for the fabric makes the shoes not only extremely light but also allows the shoes to breathe. I no longer feel pain after running a few miles. The only recommendation I would have with the Nike Free 5.0's is that if you are going to get the one that has white on it, don't plan on running outdoors where there is a lot of dirt. The rubber portion of the shoe cleans off extremely easy, but the white fabric towards the back of the shoe remains brown from the dirt no matter how I attempt to clean it. Other than the look of the shoe due to running through dirt, every thing else was perfect!

This is the 5.0, not 3.0. Also runs narrow.
Item I selected was Nike 3.0 Free Trainer but the picture was the 5.0 Free and the purchase confirmation was the 5.0. That confused me but did not matter much to me in the end. The shoe is great, definitely recommend. I wear a 12 in most shoes and a 12 in these fits nicely. For people with wide or flat feet, possibly consider purchasing a wide size (it available). My flat feet overhang the inside sole of the shoe. It's not uncomfortable because these shoes are casual-wear only for me but I wouldn't want to be running one distances like that.

Not An Option
I have a couple of issues with this shoe.First, the size appears to be is a bit smaller than the typical shoe size I wear.So the shoe is not as comfortable as it could be.Second, with the shoe being so light weight and minimal. There is only a very thin tongue. So I can feel the lace holes and the laces press into my arch when running. On my very first run, It didn't feel too bad for the for 5 minutes or so, but the pain started in ever time I bent my toes.It took over a week for the sore spot on my arch to recover enough so I didn't feel it anymore .. No matter what shoes I had on.This could be due to the shoes being too snug, but the merchant will not return them once they were used.So I am stuck with a high dollar shoe I can't wear.

runs small
Seems cheaply made and ran too small. Went with the Nike Vomero instead...

half a size larger than I usually order and it still took me a month to break in and I didn't like it at first
Bought these two years ago; half a size larger than I usually order and it still took me a month to break in and I didn't like it at first. However, I used it day and night as my only shoe for the last year. That was a bad plan because there's no arch support and the cloth material gets battered up if you use it where you are not supposed to use like in a lab or a workshop. But it's so comfortable, the shoe just hugs you around your feet and assumes its shape. Since it's so thin and light, you can actually feel the earth. That being said, it's surprisingly resilient for such a flimsy looking thing. I'm so sad to let it go. After all, I need a casual everyday shoe with proper arch support. Or I should actually start running so that I can buy it again!!

The first pair got holes where the big toes are within 2 months so I'm disappointed in that
This is second pair for my athletic 16 year old son. The first pair got holes where the big toes are within 2 months so I'm disappointed in that. My son insisted on another pair because they feel good and are light weight but they ARE NOT durable.
