Bought for my 11 Yr old, seems pretty rugged. The settings are pretty easy to use. No complaints from them so far. I like the combination of analogue and digital. Have to see how long the battery lasts

I like it and that's why it's got 5 stars from me. If you like G-Shocks then you know what you want otherwise don't buy one as it's really just a watch! Tough as nails and keeps working all day, unlike me..

For a G Shock it's a slim watch and looks good. The red is not as bright as it looks in the pictures. Same old Casio g shock rigmarole to set the time. That can be annoying to a new user. To be quite honest the digital read out is useless because of the size. The packaging is a cardboard box not the tin of old. All in all it's a decent casioaks watch.

Casio make a lot of G-Shocks including this one Ga-2100. Mostly known as the Casioaks (don’t know why), they have a good reputation for 200m water resistance, stopwatch, countdown timer, world clock and an incredible backlight. This one however is too dark to really see the digital display because it’s what they call a negative display. Why did I buy it? So I could strip out the insides and put a decent movement inside. The Casio AQ-S800 which is a better watch because it’s solar powered and you can see the face too.
