I’m a total novice, and I heard good things about the DJI brand, and this was available at a good price. You also don’t need a license to fly it either. It was very easy to set up, the app was simple to use and everything is obvious. I was off and flying in no time. Flying is simple and requires little by the way of experience. There’s no latency between drone movement and what you see on your smartphone screen. Very quiet as well. I absolutely love flying this little thing, it’s a perfect introduction. A couple of downsides - it doesn’t have its own box, so you’re either going to need to keep in the box it came with or pay out for something. Extra batteries appear to be an issue - I’ve yet to find any, and those that are available are heavier than the one provided which knocks it over that all important 250g. You will need a memory card - you can’t seem to store a flight recording directly onto your phone. If you’re on the fence about this - just go for it. Well priced, robust, lightweight, easy to use, great for a novice, don’t even think twice!

I wanted to buy a drone for a beginner and after some research based on weight,usability, and pricing I brought the DJI mini SE. I'm really pleased with the drone as it's easy to fly once understand the basic mechanics and controls . My first flight was in my apartment but I wouldn't recommend this as it's ended up crashing into things. It needs space. Since this I've take out to the local park and the pictures and videos are great for a beginner. I went out even when it was windy and it still manage to take some good footage. The only problem I have is that you lose connection frequently, so I haven't flown it that far as it returns back to automatically when you lose connection I think this is down to living in a city. Looking forward to taking this less built up space

As a someone that bought this just to play with drones (after trying some of the cheaper ones) - I love how easy this is to use, and how many resources are available online to learn from simply around this one product. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get started with drones - don't waste your time on cheaper knock-off garbage - DJI knows exactly what they are doing!

Super leve e fácil de usar. Eu aprendi online e estou me divertindo. Câmera muito boa. Só recomendo comprar também um chip de memória de pelo menos 64gb. Veja os modelos certos pois não é qualquer um que funciona.

Pros: great wind resistance, upgraded from the mini 1. Amazing camera and easy to use software. You can record to both the SD card (not included) or your phone's storage over the video transmission which is lower quality. The camera uses about 1 GB per 5 mins of recording. Flight time is alright at 31 minutes but it charges pretty quick with a proper Samsung 20w fast charger. Return 2 home feature is handy but in windy conditions I find it mistakes the home by 1-2 feets, so avoid takingoff in a dense area. Video transmission is great to about 1-1.5km then it starts to lag which is normal. If you need a better range the mini 2 is a far better option. Cons: lacks 360° crash sensors, only bottom facing, so the recording presets such as circling around target are pretty risky to use in forests. Camera colors are blend but that's easily fixable in post editing. Also the propellers flap around in transport so I recommend using a protective case or some sort of elastics to hold them in place. Btw controls are pretty bad stock, I recommend using mode 3 in settings. Verdict: Skip thoses cheaper 4k drones. This 2.7k camera is far superior, paired with the amazing software and performance, it makes for a better drone!
