So I purchased one rug, that I didn't care for once I received it. I searched and this one popped up, and fell in love with it. I ordered the 5'7 , and it's such a beautiful rug. I instantly knew this was the one for my dining area. Material feels of a regular rug, not shaggy, but just carpet material. The colors are beautiful, just like the picture shows. Smells fine, like new carpet. It came rolled in heavy plastic, not folded which made it easy to lay flat. Slip resistant. Not too heavy, I carried it in the house with ease. It's literally a piece of art in you floor. Beautiful!!

I wasn't planning on writing a review for this item. I bought it on a whim on Prime Day last year because it was on a great sale (half off) and appeared that it may look nice in my dining room (but I was also nervous that the appearance would be "overkill.") The size of the rug was perfect and it looked absolutely fantastic on the floor of my dining room. The circular design is great and actually provides more options. Because of the darker color, as months have gone by, I rarely notice much dirt or discoloration on the rug. It typically looks great, although my cat loves it too, so I have to vacuum for hair every now and then (although the dark color does a great job hiding the cat hair when I'm being lazy and not cleaning it). As for the cat, like I said, he loves the rug, but he almost immediately decided to make it his personal "floor scratching post." He constantly walks onto the rug and has a big scratching session in which he's actually lifting parts of the rug off the floor with his passionate scratching. Ive had this rug about 8 months now, so over time I would definitely worry that the constant scratching would take a major toll, but I just moved to a new house and amazingly the rug looks perfectly fine. You can't see any parts missing (from being constantly scratched). I don't know how it's so durable, but I love that it is, and I really love the design, which improves the entire decor wherever you put it. Truly a product I can highly recommend.

I was hesitant about ordering such a large rug for my small apartment, but I truly hate my carpet and wanted to cover up as much of it as I could. And I am so happy I did order it! When I first saw it rolled up I was worried it wasn't going to fit, but it fit perfectly. I used to have a smaller beige rug in my living room and it was so "blah," and added nothing to my living room, especially considering my carpet is already beige. I wanted something that would "pop" against my lighter-colored pine furniture and this rug did it! The rug is so soft and it feels so good on my bare feet! Due to a small apartment I have to have my computer/work station in the living room as well (I have a computer armoire in the corner which you can see in the picture I've included). I have a plastic floor mat to protect my rug from the chair wheels. I was worried the rug might be a bit too thick for the floor mat and make it awkward for my chair to roll back and forth, but there have been no problems at all. Despite my initial anxiety about it being too large, it fits perfectly and I am so glad I purchased the larger rug!! I love it!! Update (02/21/2016): I recently moved into a bigger home and the new rug still fits beautifully in my living room under my new furniture (see picture). I get so many comments on this rug and everyone wants to know where I got it! My new little kitten loves it so much she's trying to eat the corners, a habit I'm working on breaking her from! So happy with this purchase. This is an original, beautiful, well-made rug!

Durable carpet

I bought this rug in two different sizes for different rooms in my house. I was not disappointed. This is a very nice area rug. I would buy it again, if ever I were to need another one…

Even prettier in person. I love the swirls of color to this area rug. I ordered the 5'3" x 7'2 to go in my living room. The color's tie in very well all the neutral shades of my couch, and our furniture in the room. These rugs hold up very well to excessive vacuuming. We have long haired pets, we sweep multiple times a day. And the Rug still looks like new despite having had it for a good while and sweeping so frequently. TIP: to reduce the wrinkles or fold lines if any from shipping fold or roll the opposite direction for 24 hours before laying it in the desired room of your home. The colors of this rug make it possible to go well into just about any space with any color scheme you may be using. It will blend well with mid century modern furniture, or even more farmhouse rustic designs. Excellent value for the money. Not a deep shag pile but very soft and plush when you are walking on it. This is not a completely smooth surface area, the swirls do have a bit of dimensions to them that I can feel with my bare feet. Would make a good choice for a housewarming gift.

Wow, this rug is absolutely beautiful! In-person the colors pop so much more than the product image reveals. The colors are warm and very rich, from brown, black, burgundy, mauve, beige, and blue. The artistic patterns are incredible. It completely transformed my living room to a higher level where I've begun to add new decor just to keep up. It's thick and soft. You really know you have a quality rug when you walk on it. It does have a slight scent on the first couple of days but not an overpowering one. Just be prepared to vacuum regularly because this rug will show every piece of lint, but with this level of beauty, it's so worth it!

Very nice! Quick shipping as well. I was honestly expecting it to come very creased or "folded" because some of the reviews I had read on a different size, however it did not! It's a beautiful rug that can match basically anything in your living room too, which is great!

For the price, this area rug is very nice, pile is nice height, colours are vibrant. Feels nice to the touch.
