OTTERBOX Commuter Series for iPhone SE (1st gen - 2016) and iPhone 5/5s - Retail Packaging - Bubblegum Way (Bubblegum Pink/Seashell Pink)

I would like to preface this review with saying that I have had Otterbox cases on my phones before (I've only had the commuter series) so I'm pretty biased towards them, but I'lll try and give it a fair review! On past phones, namely iPhones, I have had commuter series Otterbox cases to protect my phone and this one is just as successful as the last ones I've had. They protect my phone from the wear and tear of being tossed into my backpack or shoved into my pockets. I put my phone in my pockets a lot, which has proven to be highly destructive to other cases, but my Otterbox case has managed to stay in one piece and still protect my phone. My last phone had the commuter series case for about two years and the hard shell part of the case had just started to get caught in my pocket and break, which for two years of going in and out of my pocket countless times a day, I would say that it's about time it started to show some wear and tear. Overall, for protecting my phone as long as it did and as well as it did, this really doesn't bother me because it lasted MUCH longer than any other case has. I also do not drop my phone very often, but when I do it is one of those accidents where you just don't even want to pick it up because you're sure that your screen will be obliterated and you just don't want to face the truth. Well, since having the commuter series case from Otterbox, I have never had a ding on my phone, let alone a cracked screen. I will also note that I have a screen protector, for what its worth. But I have never had any damage done to my phone whether it's chipping the side or cracking either the front screen or the back. For slim, convenient protection that will keep your phone safe through normal wear and tear, I would recommend this product to any of my friends or family. Pros: Slim, lightweight design Tight fitting Covers headphone and charging port (nice so they don't get dirty) Easy installation on the phone Does not limit button functionality Cons: None yet!

With a price nearly half of what you pay in the store, I was skeptical of its authenticity; however, it comes sealed in the original OtterBox packaging (just like at the store) and is, by all appearances, genuine. It fits perfectly with my iPhone 5 and provides a nice balance of protection without being too bulky. I didn't want a defender series because it's simply too big ---this commuter series is a perfect compromise. Fits in there nice and snug and gives me piece of mind that I don't have to treat my phone like a newborn baby. The only "complaint" I really have is that the screen protector scratches REALLY easily. I know the point is to prevent the actual screen from scratching, which it is doing, but I just put the case on yesterday and I already noticed quite a few scratches on the protector and I haven't even left the house or done anything. The good thing is you can hardly tell there's a protector on the phone...many protectors I've tried before cause the screen quality to suffer, but this doesn't. I don't notice any difference in screen quality; the display is crystal clear just as it is without the protector. And the scratches I see are very superficial and require you to look at just the right angle, for the record. I read reviews of people complaining that it was slippery and the top button was hard to press...I have not experienced this. The shell is smooth plastic, but it's not slippery as parts of the rubber layer provide a nice grip around the edges. I actually prefer it because the "sticky" rubber cases are a pain to try and get in and out of your pocket; the smooth plastic presents no problems. The buttons are not hard to press...some people must have very weak fingers. It fits like a glove and looks great. I love that it also has little flaps that protect the headphone jack and lightning port. The shipping was REALLY fast but I think that's because the seller is located just two hours north of me (according to the tracking it was shipped from Orlando, FL). Overall I definitely recommend this case and the seller! Top notch.

Fantastic case! Fulfilled all needs and expectations. Looks great, I suck at putting screen protectors on and I don't like them to begin with, so the one that comes with it not only do I not have it on, I ruined it trying to apply it cus I have OCD with it being "straight" on the phone. The only concern I have is this... For maybe $10 more you can purchase a Lifeproof case of the same size as this commuter case. But Lifeproof offers a better warranty. Otter box graciously offers to replace a broken or damaged case at no expense to you for life. Lifeproof however does not just that, but will offer to replace your iPhone in addition to the case, if it breaks while using their case. That's a company 1up on Otter Box, so Otter Box should do something about that. Plus you can splash and even dunk your Lifeproof case in liquids and your phone won't be touched, however sound quality and hearing ability I've heard is diminished because of the full sealed enclosure that Lifeproof has around your phone. As for an every day case though, this case is definitely the highest of quality on the market. Otter Box set the standard years ago and still no other company can compete with their quality. Plus I managed to get this case for only $20. That's $30 cheaper than what you'll find in a store. If you're unsure about this case, I suggest going to a cell phone provider store such as Verizon, ask the sales rep to see demo cases for your phone, find the type of case you like, tell the sales rep to screw off cus you know he/she is going to try and sell you a bunch of junk, go home and get on Amazon and buy the exact case you liked. Winner winner chicken dinner. You'll save money and you'll have the option of "trying before you buy" which rarely exists in modern day anymore, except with cars and shoes.... Hope this helps!

I bought this for my husband, he loves it. The materials are top quality and will not stretch out or wear away. Worth the money. UPDATE February 4 2018, this case finally cracked across the back, we will have to get a new one. My husband carries his phone in his pocket most of the time...

Though the order took time but it was worth the wait. So good to have such foreign brands available to the people in the most remotest of places in India. Job well done amazon. You are the best in the business we have here in India.
