Excellent Demo Board
Excellent magnetic chess set... magnets are strong enough to keep the pieces from falling - yet easy to move the pieces around. Did not come with two extra queens or a set of arrows like some demo boards do for teaching, but I'm sure I can make some for cheap.I had a slotted type demo board and did not like it because it was too difficult to get the pieces in the slot when the teaching time is limited, and kids have some difficulty moving pieces around on a slotted board.

Chess for a Group
This board allows group demonstration and group interaction. My only complaint is that the magnet doesn't cover the entire piece, it is only one, small, round magnet on the back.

Very bad product
I'm disappointed from this product, the magnetic is so bad, all pieces drop down, I wish I can return it back and get my money

Good, inexpensive demonstration board
There are two types of inexpensive demonstration boards: slotted and magnetic. I chose the magnetic because I distrusted the ability of my 1st-5th graders to use the slotted board without inadvertently tearing it--even under close supervision. This set is available from many sellers--I've used two--and seems to be the only magnetic set around. Over time the magnets become stronger and spinning pieces become less of an issue. The sets often come with one or two magnets loose. They have to be glued in. There are better demonstration boards than either the slotted or the magnetic, but they are usually expensive and immobile. I got what paid for. 5 stars from me.

Good board, bad pieces
UPDATE: I contacted customer service about the bad pieces, and they responded promptly saying they would ship out a new set of pieces ASAP. I have just received the new pieces. In this replacement set, there are FIVE pieces in which the glue for the magnetic components have come off. Between the two sets of pieces I have, I'm able to at least get 1 full working set. But given my experience so far, I cannot guarantee that anyone who orders this product will get what they're paying for. I've updated my review from 2 to 3 stars for their customer responsiveness, and the fact that the product is cool once all the pieces work properly. The board itself is nice so far. I cannot, however, give more than 2 stars for an incomplete/broken product. I expected the magnetic pieces to be of much higher quality. A red bishop is completely missing its magnetic component, and is now lying uselessly around my apartment while my board is incomplete. Another pawn's magnetic component was not glued on and fell out as soon as I picked the piece up. A red rook is scratched around the neck.

Perfect for my group classes. Easy to carry around because of the bag.
