I’ve been using this tahini for a while now and I’m really happy with how smooth it is. The texture is creamy and easy to stir, without being overly thick or dry. The flavor is rich and nutty with no bitterness, which makes a big difference in sauces and dressings. It blends beautifully into hummus, salad dressings, and marinades without needing extra oil. My favorite is to drizzle on my salad alond with a couple shakes of coconut aminos and it is all I need, delicious. I like that it’s organic and made with simple, clean ingredients. The large 2 lb jar is perfect if you use tahini often and don’t want to run out quickly. It feels fresh and high quality every time I order it. I would recommend highly, Thank you!

I got this tahini because I wanted something a little different to mix into hummus and salad dressings, and it’s been a great pantry staple overall. It’s organic and made from unhulled black sesame seeds, so the flavor is richer and deeper than the regular tahini I had before, and it adds a nice nutty flavor to both sweet and savory dishes. I like how creamy and smooth the texture is, which makes it easy to blend into sauces or even just spread on toast, and the jar feels like it lasts a long time. I did notice that it’s a bit on the thicker side, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall I appreciate the bold taste and versatility, and haven't encountered any problems so far.

Prior to trying this organic brand, I never tasted black sesame seed tahini. It is really a whole different taste, texture, and Gustatory experience. First, it is completely smooth from the top to the bottom of the jar. A problem that regular tahini has (even the good quality Lebanese kind) is if it sits on the grocery store shelf for a month or longer, sesame oil pools to the top of the jar and a solid mass of tahini forms at the bottom. Not great. The black tahini also has a more rich texture, toasty and a less dry, chalky taste than regular kind. Though I have yet to make hummus with it, to be honest, just eating tablespoons out of the jar is very satisfying. You can also spread it on multigrain bread and drizzle honey on top for a quick healthy snack. Sure, the price point is a bit high, but the quality is well worth the cost. I’m sure that this smooth texture can form the base of a black tahini, salad dressing mixed with certain spices that will bring out its earthiness.

The taste is pretty strong so I recommend starting with a small amount. It can also make some foods look pretty unappetizing but if you can overlook appearance it is fine.

This is great Tahini. If you like tahini you will love this.

Hello, I ordered this 8 pounds of organice sesame Tahini and it was absolutely “imitative” not a 100% made from organic Sesame seeds at all I would say only 50% from my experience. Cuz it shouldn’t be like this at all. Now when it's precipitate in bottom like this in picture that means they mixed it with Flower and Peanuts for the weights and cheaper and it will do a close smiler taste of Tehini. Real sesame oil tahini will absolutely stay smooth. I will not recommend anyone to buy this product at all and I would take it to a laboratory and prove this Tahini is mixed with Flower and peanuts. And they don’t understand maybe some people are allergic To other ingredients that been added to this product. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this 6 months ago, and have tried multiple recipes with it, but I mainly use it for black sesame lattes. The taste is ok, but the black tahini is very runny and I don't think the sesame seeds were ground enough. When making baked goods, it's likely not as noticeable, but as a latte, the ground sesame seeds stick to the sides and make an absolute mess leaving the tahini rather grainy. I don't believe this tahini high quality, but it's good enough if you're having a hard time finding other options. I will not buy again.

Me gusta mucho este producto y lo he comprado en varias ocasiones. Sólo añado 2 comentarios, la última vez que lo compré venía un poco más líquido de lo normal aunque el sabor era igual de bueno. Y el otro comentario es una sugerencia para que le pongan un sello adherido a la boca del frasco ya que el anillo de plástico no es suficiente y si no está bien cerrado se puede derramar la crema como alguna vez así me llegó.

It's messy to work with. The container is a pain to open. I made Tahini bread 🥪 twice and both times it turned out great .The bread is very easy to make only a cup of Tahini, 4 eggs and a half tsp of baking soda in a parchment lined bread 🥪 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. It's more like a loaf of whatever not bread because it doesn't toast but with butter or any other spread that you care to use It's a really nice eat that pairs very well with your digestive track.
