Le Creuset Stoneware Set of 2 Cappuccino Cups and Saucers, 2 oz. each, Cerise

These are great little espresso cups. I had been looking at them for awhile, but was inclined to avoid them because of the Le Creuset brand. I kept thinking about their Dutch ovens and fearing that these would be chunky and out of proportion. Not finding anything else I liked, I finally ordered some. I love them! They're a perfect size for my Nespresso shot, and I love the color. They are well made, the glaze is perfect, and they hold up just fine in the dishwasher.

These two tiny espresso cups are cute. I rarely use this word but it is the only word I could think of to explain them.Yes a bit pricey but I think they were well worth it.The same size I would get when I lived in Rotterdam and order me an espresso from a coffee shop just around the corner of where I lived.I would not recommend putting them in the dishwasher though. Which is fine with me I can handle hand washing items that I want to be able to take special care of.If you are looking for just a single shot size espresso "cup" these are them.If you are the type that refuses to hand wash items. These are NOT them.:)Good Luck.!

These are heavy and beautiful cups, and I am quite happy with them. However, they may not be the right choice for your machine. Because of their tapered profile, they only hold 2 oz of liquid, measured right to the rim. This is less capacity than my other espresso cups. For machines like the Delonghi consumer models, with small portafilter baskets that only hold 12 grams of grounds for a double-shot, this is a good size for the liquid and the crema. For machines like the Brevilles with larger double-shot portafilter baskets that hold 17-19 grams of grounds, this is too small. The optimum volume of liquid for such a shot is 2oz, which with the crema would overflow these cups.As an added note, there was no mention of these being lead-free in any of the literature or packaging. I simply have to trust the brand name.

This is a high quality product with fine finishing...there are no bubbles caused by a poor paint job...no imperfections of any type. The size is just perfect for one shot of espresso. In case you were not using them, put them in a place where you can see them...the color is very vibrant and alive that it is nice to just look at them (in your kitchen or living room in case you have a cabinet for mugs and espresso mugs :) )Bought Le Creuset mugs before...no complaints there. The color this time is just charming for me :)

The cups look great and are holding up nicely. They only hold one shot each but are great for a single shot or a one shot con panna. If looking to make latte's or cappuccinos be sure to get the larger size. Seem durable and Le Creuset is a great brand, but I'm sure there are cheaper cups that are also nice for those who are on a tight budget.

I purchased this set for my partner who's in love with all things coffee, in particular he's mad about his espresso. He loves this brand for its quality and durability, as well as the exact shape of its handle and thickness of the cup. The set arrived without damage and the glaze is beautiful. All in all very happy with this purchase.

My espresso cups arrived even earlier than I was expecting. Le Creuset is just such a great quality line of products that you really can't go wrong with anything you purchase from them. Had to order these in the marseille color to match my tea pot!These are the perfect size for espresso and the saucers are designed to hold the espresso cup in place which is super important! Other espresso/saucer combo's that i've found don't have a deep enough divet for the cup to go so the espresso splashes out of the cup very easily and it's messy.

I was under impression these cups are made in France like other Le Creuset cookware we own. But these are made in China. Amazon should really indicate the country of origin for all products to avoid this kind of disappointment. I don't like to pay made in France prices for products that are made in China.
