Good alternative to more expensive hydration packs
I initially bought this as had many music festivals and hikes planned for the upcoming months. It was actually quite difficult to sift through all the different varieties but this one seemed overall the best in terms of customer reviews and affordability. It's quite sleek and I would recommend tightening the straps so its not bouncing around too much. The way this hydration pack seals the water in is a little different than your usual screw on lid type which seems more common. Essentially, it's a large open-ended durable plastic bag that you have to fold over the top and slide on the a plastic cover in between the fold of the bag. Think of it more like the slider ziploc bags except the zipper part can fully come off. It can be a little difficult to get on if you have too much water but adjusting to it shouldn't be that much of an issue. As for the bag itself, the straps aren't exactly the best as they can cause a lot of friction on your shoulders if they are exposed so definitely wear a shirt. Again, it won't be that comfortable but it's sufficient. It's also quite insulated as I was able to fill the bag halfway with ice and it lasted a good 4-5 hours in the Las Vegas desert heat while at EDC. As for storage, not a whole lot of room when the bladder is full and the small zipper pocket in the front doesn't add too much either. At most some keys, chapstick in the front; you can maybe stuff a wallet or phone in the main compartment before you place the bladder back in.Lastly, for cleaning, the bladder is quite easy and actually having the fully open top helps with drying. Clean with regular soap and water and then place the bag over top a standing bottle to hold the bag upright while the the water can drip down. The tube is a bit more difficult as with any other hydration pack. I just swing it around a few times to use centrifugal motion to get the water out.... Hey, it works.I've used this bag about 7-8 times so far and no leaks as some people have mentioned. Price point and functionality met my needs.

Nice hydration pack. Must be filled in the pack.
I like the High Sierra packs. I actually much prefer the bite valves over Camelbak and haven't had them leak unlessi set it down and dirt or whatever gets on there. I bought this one for quick hikes. Its a nice pack and I don't think you can beat it for the $. I prefer to fill the bladder after a hike and throw it on the bottom shelf of the fridge for the next hike (I do so a couple times a week). As the cap has to be removed to reinstall it, you can't do this without losing half the water. So just know that this is a fill in the bag type pack. Not a big deal, just not for me. Still give it 4 stars because that's just a personal preference.

This is perfect for biking!
This is perfect for biking, hiking, walking for any other situation which one needs hydration! The top is easy to open, fill up, and put back together. I bike many miles and it always a risk to reach for the usual frame mounted water bottle. I have it hooked up so the piece for the mouth is really close to my mouth. This cuts down on the time my eyes are off the trail. Very easy to carry not a lot of weight and not bulky. A small pocket for my keys and cell phone. Extremely easy to clean with the large lid. I haven't experienced any leaking. The price was great and it is perfect for what I needed. An unintentional added bonus was my grandson fell in love with it and drinks water all the time when he plays outside..

This pack is great if you aren't planning on bringing many items
This pack is great if you aren't planning on bringing many items. The water sack takes up most of the space, so there's no room for extra items, unless they're small enough to fit in the tiny zippered pocket. Other than that, it's perfect for long hikes! Even when hydration sleeve is full, it's not too heavy. The straw is easy to access and use. It does not leak and it can be tucked away when not in use.

Brand names need not apply
Got this because I knew the wife and I would be hiking on our Hawaii trip. Needed a hydration pack to compliment mine. Kind of disappointed that the water seal is one of those sliding ones instead of the interlocking system, but it seems to work just fine! I guess we'll see if it causes problems in the future. The pockets are also a bit small but that is to be expected with this size pack. All in all, good product at a good price.

Good value hydration pack
Good value hydration pack. The only things I don't like are the small single pocket, the weak straps that can get easily twisted, and the Velcro patch on the body of the pack that is not stitched down (which allows the flap, and thus the water pouch, to move around more than I would like). But for the price the issues listed earlier are not that big of a deal and this is still a great hydration pack.

-The side pocket is super small. I can barely fit with a fight ...
I work music festivals and I am always active during these events.Cons:-The valve sporadically leaks.-The valve needs to be constantly sticking up. If not it will leak even more. The bag does not come with a clip or anything to hold tubing and valve up.-The side pocket is super small. I can barely fit with a fight my Note 4 and that's the only thing that fits in there.-The clip that holds the blue bag clip and bag up is hard to take off.Pro:-It is lightweight.I personally would not buy this item again. My shirt was always wet due to the valve leaking.

... insulated tube so I thought it would be the best to not freeze
I bought this for a ski trip because it had an insulated tube so I thought it would be the best to not freeze. First complaint is that it does have a small zipper on the back but it is tiny, it barely even fit a little bit of cash and chapstick, it definitely will not fit a cell phone. Second complaint is that the bite valve does not shut all the way, so the entire 2 days that we skied my backpack leaked water down my side. Lucky enough I was wearing water proof clothes but it was the most inconvenient thing. I will not order again, and probably will end up throwing this one away because there is no way to keep water from coming out of.
