These are very sturdy metal stands and fit between the back of my couch and the wall (although it forces a bit of space in between). The height is not adjustable, so make sure to measure where you want to place them before purchasing. It's simple to assemble and contained all screws necessary (including the screw to attach the speakers to the stand). You have the option of choosing between rubber or spiked feet in case you have carpet or wood/tile floors. There is a small plastic attachment that you can clip to the back of the stands so that the wires are held close. It's also hollow inside with openings at the top and bottom so that you can hide the cables inside. Overall, great speaker stands and highly recommended.

Hey guys, i will admit these things are sturdy and support my Definitive Pro 600.1 satellite speakers perfectly. These were easy to assemble and took all but 10 minutes. The only thing I have a hard time understanding is why are they so expensive? Although I did not test or try any other stands on the market, simply because I had an Amazon gift card to pay for these, I would find it hard to imagine that other stands for less than half the price would accomplish the same goal. But, they do get 5 stars for quality and sturdiness. If you factor in price, I would drop it to 3 stars.

Work great with the DefTech 600/800 speaker. I have a pair of 800's mounted to them and love em. I originally ran the speaker cable up the back of the stands with the supplied cable holders but have since ran the cable through the center of the stands. Looks much better and easy to do. Just unclip your banana plugs (if using them) then fish the cable from the bottom of the post hole up to the top, use needle nose pliers to pull out the cable through the top hole, reconnect your banana plus and back into your speakers. Tada!

Agree with other posters that these seem over-priced for how basic they are. Also, it shipped with a wrong part, missing one of the 4 feet fro hardwood surfaces so it wobbles -- will see how their customer service is sending out a replacement promptly. The biggest gripe is these are the shortest speaker stands I have owned, especially for such small speakers. My KEF speakers are a similar size but the stand is at least 6" taller. This stand is so short (29" after the feet are on) that the speaker doesn't even clear the back of my couch. I'm going to have to go to home depot and buy some wood to rig something for it to sit on to raise it up. The dimensions on the site are accurate, so it's not false advertising but since this is the stand designed for the speaker you would think they could have made it a more typical height.

They are made sturdy and with strong material. If anyone else is complaining about that then they are full of themselves. Only complaint would be is I wish they where adjustable, but I knew it when I bought them so they still get all 5 stars. Hint: make sure to run the speaker wire through before adding the wire clips. I didn't think about it until I already did it (was to excited to set them up) Once you clip them in they are not meant to come back out and now you have plastic ends in the tubes that your wire you're trying to feed will get caught on. You will understand when you get the product.

I purchased a pair of Definitive Technology ProMonitor 800's for a small (42") plasma TV home theater system that I have in the living room. The sound from the built-in speakers leave much to be desired, as do most speakers in flat panel TV's due to their small size. The Def Tech 800's solved that problem. They sound great, especially considering their small size. The matching speaker stands look great and position the speakers at the perfect height, as they hold the speakers at the same height as listeners ears while sitting on a couch. They are made of quality materials and will last for many years.

Good quality. They do their job. The spikes are a bit too long for my floor (yes, I have them screwed in as far as they will go). They go through the carpet right to the concrete (or whatever is under there). There's about a half-inch gap between the bottom of the stand and the carpet, so they aren't as secure as I'd like. This could be an issue if you have kids or dogs or crowded parties or whatever. I have none of those, so it hasn't been a problem for me.

Great stand. Easy to put together and looks great.
