Today is the first day of the rest of your life, why not make the most of it and if you like to travel...travel! Like any worthy endeavor, it is wise to do your homework first...learn from others, go to the professionals. I especially liked Sharon O'Neill's description of her "Thin Place" as a 13-mile strip of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. "Celtic tradition suggests there are places where the physical world and the spiritual world come so close that the distance between them is thin." We all need to find our own "Thin Place".

This book provides LOTS of ideas... and that's exactly what you need to broaden your horizons. The last think you want to do is sit at home in retirement. So buy this book and get going!

Interesting tidbits. Not all the stories relate to my situation though. Nice gift for a retiree but don't pay too much for it.

Bought this for my mom who is quite the spunky retiree and she LOVES it! She tells me almost daily of the advice that she is putting into practice from the pages of this book!

Given as a part of a retirement gift. It was passed along during the party and everyone enjoyed surfing through it. Also gave a lottery scratch off. Too bad she didn't win the $2 Million.

Payed for a new book got a used book.

I got nothing from reading this book. You will not get anything from this book of value and it is a waste of money.

I'm still reading this, pick it up, put it down. Always good to have a reference book on hand. Enjoy.
