Perfect for a business man!!
Great luggage. Got a lot of compliments in airports. Stylish. Glides with easy. The handle isnt too sturdy but nothing to worry about. You can see in the pictures the real dimensions (unexpanded and expanded) wide and tall. Highly recommended.

Outstanding
Went on a 5 day 4 night trip and was able to use this carry-on for the first time.Construction: It's a sturdy little case, wheels glide well, are mounted securely, zippers are heavy duty (I lubricated them with graphite too), lock mechanism is handy but I wish the dials were a little larger to make turning easier, exterior is durable, and the extending handle is sufficiently long enough for my 6' frame to pull comfortably but is not as sturdy as I'd like it to be (I hope it holds up).Balance: I had a laptop case which slid over the extended handle just fine. Upright the case pushed along fine and did not topple, even going up and down ramps. Casters swiveled just fine and I wheeled like this through the aisle on the plane. Pulling it behind me however, it tended to want to flip to it's side, this was probably due to my laptop case not staying perfectly balanced on the extended handle which caused the weight to shift.Capacity: I packed the following:(1) Bathroom bag (9.7 x 9.1 x 2.9 inches)(5) Pairs of socks(5) T-Shirts(5) Undies(1) Pair of dress shoes(2) Belts(4) Pairs of slacks(4) Dress shirts(2) Polo shirts(1) Lint roller(1) Light jacketExpanded the case when packing, then compressed it when full. No capacity problem at all.Overhead Compartment Sizing: No issue what so everOverall, a great buy.** 8/22/14 UpdateStill very impressed by this luggage piece, I've had an opportunity to use it a number of times thus far.One trip I threw an extra pair of shoes in and a heavier jacket, so I left the bag in it's expanded mode. No issues of it fitting within the overhead compartment.Regarding my earlier dial security lock comment, well... it's a carry on and only leaves my sight when the overhead door shuts. So, I find myself not even locking it. Essentially, a non-issue.Regarding the handle: It's still holding up as if it was new. I guess it's stronger than it first appears.

Caution..
It has been a couple of years and there are some good qualities with this luggage.1. It has a lot of room and is expandable2. It is perfectly sized to fit on all american airlines overhead compartments, even the regional jets. I love it when the gate agents tell me my luggage wont fit, and i try to bet them travel vouchers it will. They are smart not to take that bet3. The handle is very long, which is good because i am tall, but it also has shorter adjustments. Now onto the ugly, and this is what will prevent me from buying samsonite ever again:1. The wheels just absolutely suck. I should have paid attention to earlier reviews/complaints about the wheels, but i didnt, thinking it was just a few cases. Then I saw the wheels in person...They are cheaply made and easily warp/wear down, making it difficult to use in airports, especially when you try to push the luggage upright on all 4 wheels. My wheels got so bad I had to contact samsonite to get them fixed.....which brings me to the big no-no2. Samsonite's customert service is god-awful. They offer a nice guarantee and warrant, but the catch is this....I have to mail my luggage to an authorized samsonite repair shop (on your dime, but they do reimburse you if it is their fault which is still ridiculous) so they can see if it is my fault or if samsonite provided faulty products...THEN if it is samsonite's fault, it has to go into the queue to get repaired, which takes weeks. I travel a lot, and had to go 3 weeks without luggage. They will not allow trade-ins or replacements, and they do not offer you a loaner. What is the point of buying a luggage with all these guarantees if, when it breaks, you have no luggage? I would highly suggest you find a better built luggage because samsonite WILL let you down.

Fantastic Storage Capacity For Such a Small Bag
This is my first spinner bag, and other than accidentally running my foot over while half asleep, I've had a great experience with it. The storage is impressive for it's size and I was able to pack it (somewhat inefficiently) with: two pairs of shoes, two pairs of pants, three dress shirts, three ties, three t-shirts, shorts, five pairs of underwear, four pairs of socks, two sets of workout clothes, toiletries, various cords, wireless headphones, and a large book. The bag closed easily and there was definitely more room if I needed it. Mobility-wise, it works great in a crowded airport, as well as boarding and deplaning. It has fit in most overhead compartments, except an especially tiny one on an MD-80. In that situation though, I was able to turn it side-ways. Overall it's a sturdy, economical bag, with good mobility and great storage.

Nice wheels and spacious!
I got this in blue as a gift. This is my first spinner as well as the first hardside luggage piece I own. I did test how much clothes and shoes I can fill in this with the layering technique, and I'm amazed at how much I can put inside it, easily a week or two worth of clothes with no problem! When I first received it, I was a little disappointed about the inside because there was a lack of pockets and organizers. But after stuffing it with a bunch of stuff, I learned that, that was a good point about this case. With the mesh covering, you have a bit of flexibility when you're trying to cram items on that side. I can organize things the way I wanted. The handle is slim but durable and the case weighs less than my American Tourister 21" upright I used for a 7 days cruise a year back. What a difference those spinner wheels make!

Pretty good
Went on a trip to Malaysia... 30 hr flight one-way flight, 3 different airlines each way, I have to say this little guy held up quite well. It's also really easy to maneuver, I disagree with he reviewers complaining about its wheel being unstable... not sure what are they complaining about, it has near perfect mobility.

Colour does not look like the picture (it is more of a hot pink)
Colour does not look like the picture (it is more of a hot pink). Wheels and handle works fine, but the mechanism is not as smooth as expected for luggage at this price range. Also, be mindful that the texture on the hard case is NOT scratch resistant. In fact, because it is like a rough sandpaper texture, it will scratch your hand, legs, whatever comes in contact with it. It is particularly bad when you try to put it in an overhead compartment because pushing it to fit (yes, it is slightly too large for carry-on) will scratch your hands. I do like the unique colour enough to keep it but will not purchase it again.

Great Suitcase after One Trip with it
This little carry-on worked like a charm. I've never had hard sided luggage and the newer spinner wheels; the handle was strong and also carried my laptop bag to get me through the airport in a jiffy. The spinner wheels don't work well on carpet so you have to pull it behind but it was a dream to push on tiled surfaces or thinner carpet. It also stuffed well into the overhead with the extended part unzipped as it squished down easily to fit. But your mileage may vary on that if you really overstuff the suitcase. I also used packing cubes this time. They add a bit of bulk but at the same time, nothing shifted inside which also permitted me to take home some extra clothing.I'll see how well it fares over time though as I get used to taking shorter flights.

Solid feel, good looking, go everywhere kind of luggage
Solid carry-on everywhere type of luggage. Very basic design but a good solid feel to it. Nice coasters and handle that feels well made. The size is sufficient for a weekend or a three day business trip. The exterior shell finish is also very nice, kinda like a woven carbon fiber type of pattern. The style I was looking for: Looks good and serious, but does not attract attention to you and your stuff.Time and usage will tell if it's more than a looker...

One for the Road
I didn't just buy this. I tried it out on a trip from the frozen north (where I live) to Savannah and up the east coast of the States to Washington. It works just fine. My only reservation is about the extendable handle. It only locks in position at the fully extended position. Not that it's the end of the world - far from it - but some adjustableness (if there is such a word) would have been nice). The expandable feature is good and it is a solid number that fits nicely in an overhead bin.
