All around great baby/toddler toothpaste
Our daughter is two and we're just not ready to use fluoride toothpaste for her. Weve been using an all natural baby toothpaste that just doesnt seem to be cutting it anymore. We were looking for a paste that would help freshen her breath, clean her teeth, has natural ingredients, and that she actually likes the taste of. This ones the winner out of a few different brands. As a Mom I tasted it first, and it's quite tasty lol. Minty but sweet. I was afraid itd be too minty for her, but she loves the taste. The package says no peppermint, so it's safe for lil ones(peppermint can be too tingly for lil ones gums and isn't safe for lil ones). It does not contain flouride or other chemicals. Most of the ingredients are natural, and the ones that are not are vegetable derived (example; veg glycerin). It's flavored with fennel and other natural flavors. It also contains calendula for gum health and soothing/healing for teething babies/toddlers. I'm glad I went for it and bought the two pack. I've never been disappointed with Weleda, and the savings were great for the two pack. Our daughter loves it. This paste freshens her breath better than the others we've tried. And her teeth are pearly white so it's cleaning well! We will order this again!

Great fluoride-free kidsโ toothpaste - minty and sweet, but mild
[Update July 2022]My kids have been using this almost 11 years now. Still no cavities! Last year, after the dentist gave them a sparkly Crest toothpaste sample, they asked to switch to that toothpaste. I bought them a full sized tube and, before they even used it all, they asked to switch back to the Weleda :)______________________________My kids have been using this since their first tooth. I wanted them to start on a toothpaste that had a mint flavor like most the toothpastes theyโll use their whole life, rather than the usual sweet flavored starter toothpastes made for kids (e.g. strawberry flavor, bubble gum flavor). Too many kid products focus on being sweet basically training them from the get-go to prefer sweet foods over savory. The mint flavor in this is very mild, the sweetness from the xylitol is also very mild, it cleans teeth well (no cavities across 3 kids and 9 years of using this product). I like that itโs flouride free and I also appreciate the ingredient list as being better than most kids toothpastes. Even the Tomโs Mild Mint kids toothpaste has sodium lauryl sulfate in it.Weleda made the most effective diaper cream I tried for my kids and thatโs what lead me to try their toothpaste. I highly recommend it.

Only choice worthy!!!
This is a great product for children! You only need a small swipe so this product last a long time! It does not taste like mint (which my son hates) so that makes life easier for me! It does the job and does not have all the bad products in it! This is a great choice and the only one for our family!

Good all around
We have been using this toothpaste gel since the birth of our first child, five years ago and it has been the same product we use since then. This product is made in Germany and the gel texture is really nice, kids love it. We tried to introduce another choice but it was rejected every time so we always come back to welada children's tooth gel. It is peppermint free so no burning and it does not foam so no messes to clean. The packaging is nice and the product very decent. As for the vendor, his prices are good and the delivery was as forecasted. No complains!!

Ok baby toothpaste, but prefer Spry
I originally purchased this because it was one of safer toothpastes that is sold on Amazon (it was a 2 out of 5 by the Environmental Working Group) and my toddler swallows almost all toothpaste in her mouth. The toothpaste is vaguely minty and a yellowish tint. The tube is aluminum so it feels a little stiff and gets all bumpy/dented from squeezing (and doesn't smooth out to look like new). On the other hand, aluminum is probably safer than plastic anyway. I can't tell you if she likes it or not because toothbrushing is a daily torture that involves lots of crying, screaming, and writhing on the floor. But she does seem to scream more when we use Crest kids (free sample from the dentist).UPDATE - Due to concerns about limonene, babies/toddlers swallowing silica, and the effect of glycerin on teeth (all these ingredients are in Weleda), I have switched to Xlear Spry Kid's Tooth Gel with Xylitol. Xylitol is a natural sweetener that you can use in food/drinks, so I feel much more comfortable letting my child swallow this. The ingredients are purified water, xylitol, calcium glycerophosphate, cellulose gum (thickener), grapefruit seed extract (preservative). Also it turns out that my kid just doesn't like the taste of mint.

Good taste and texture
This is a good choice to stay away harmful ingredients. The taste is good the texture is perfect. Some of other natural toothpaste is too runny and doesn't stay on the top of the toothbrush. However I like it I started to use another toothpaste too for my Child. I think which contains xylitol make a better job against the cavities.P.S.: in this toothpaste the silica isn't harmful, swallowing silica gel isn't toxic or harmful but inhaling silica dust is dangerous and harmful. So the swallowing the silica gel and inhaling silica dust is not the same! You can find information about it on internet.
