Great Goal! Great Price!
I bought this because I needed a cheap, but really good goal for backyard play. Here are my thoughts on this goal..Packaging: The soccer goal comes in a box the size of about a guitar and weighs a good 37 pounds. Each steel bar is packaged in plastic bag and so do the stakes and the net.Set Up: First things first, this is definitely a TWO person assembly. I was stupid enough to try it myself, but I eventually needed assistance from my dad. It took me a good hour and a half to get it finished with net and Velcro strips. With two people you could assemble this faster than I did, around an hour or even less.Quality: The steel bars are great and the net is deemed "All Weather". I will post an update since some thunderstorms are imminent and I'll share how the net showed up to its expectations. I'm 15 and can kick hard but the goal stayed in place WITHOUT even putting on the stakes so I almost guarantee this will stay in place perfectly with the stakes put in. My dad also kicked it hard and it still stayed in place so that's another example. The net will stay in place with the Velcro strips they just have to be put strategically. I didn't follow the instruction with the strips and so far the net hasn't got out of place. Pretty good Velcro strips. The size of the goal is 12 x 6 x 5. It's a pretty good width but the height is kind of a setback if you're 6 feet or taller.Price: I payed $76 for this and in my opinion is a bargain! It's bigger than a 5 x 10 for around $50 and still ok compared the goals that go up to $150. It's not a bad goal for casual backyard play and training on your shots. Conclusion: In the end, this is a great goal and you will definitely get your moneys worth. I think it is best for ages 16-17 and under for casual play and all ages for shot training. If I experience any problems (not likely =P) I will be sure to update this review.UPDATE 5-26-15: After seven heavy thunderstorms and 1 TORNADO this thing is still looking almost like NEW. This is definitely a bargain and I heavily recommend this!

Rust will be an issue.
Not too much to say, easy assembly, light weight. Good for kids. Rusts very easily. Water gets trapped inside tubes then leaks out rusty water when you move it. Not expecting to last more than a year if you leave it outside.

backyard fun and durability
Surprisingly high quality. I wasn't expecting too much given the low price on this item, but was pleasantly surprised. The posts are made of thick metal and the net is easy to adjust and connect. This is a good size for a back yard or for peewee leagues just learning the basics of footie! UPDATE: After leaving this out for about 10 months, 7-8 of which were in the full blazing hot south texas sun, the velcro straps that hold the netting to the metal frame have pretty much succumbed and have frayed beyong purposeful use. I've reattached using zip ties and hope those last a bit longer than the original velcro attachments. Otherwise the frame and netting have done quite well otherwise. I'll keep this at a 5 star rating because for what I paid (less than 25), and the conditions it has endured, it has held up remarkably well. If this were used indoors, I could see this lasting indefinitely.

Nice Goal for Kids! Great for Portability!! Some Detractors...
I purchased this Franklin Sports Soccer Goal for my child's birthday. It is a great soccer goal to set up in a short amount of time (5-10 minutes), and it is nice that you can disassemable/reassemble it for portability. The only detractors I've seen so far are that if you choose to leave it up outside, the small push buttons will begin to rust (see photo). Our goal pins starting rusting in just a few weeks (less than 1 month). The only other issue we've had with our goal was that there are supposed to be 2 red tags and 2 blue tags on the net - so you know which side is the top and which side is the bottom of the net. Well ours came with 3 red tags and 1 blue tag (see photos). Once we figured out which way the net went on the goal, I put letters on the tags (T for Top and B for Bottom) so I would know which way the net goes in successive assemblies of the goal.Other than those 2 things (which knocked it down to 4 stars instead of 5), it seems to be a good soccer goal. I hope it lasts for many years!! :-)

Good basic soccer goal
It's a soccer goal. Works good, and is a good size for my 4 & 6 year old boys, but big enough that my husband and I can play with them and still enjoy it.Assembly was mostly easy, but one of the ends was mis-shapen, and it took about 20 minutes to bend the metal enough to insert it into the other piece. All the other pieces were super easy to piece together. As other reviewers mentioned, the velcro doesn't seem strong enough to withstand much, so I do plan on putting some zip-ties on the net for long-term use, but that's a minor issue.Overall, a good soccer goal for the money.

but I'm pretty sure that is due to my kids abusing it
I should probably give the net five stars considering how many years it's been in the yard and how much abuse it has taken, but after a couple of years, I think loosing one star for having to put on two dozen zip ties to keep the net together is fair. It's started to sag a little in the middle, but I'm pretty sure that is due to my kids abusing it. To build something the kids couldn't break, you'd have to use tube steel and the thing would weigh 400 pounds and then you would have to anchor it in concrete so it wouldn't fall over and kill anyone.I'm thinking this was probably a better choice. Really it's done much better than I expected and it keeps the ball from sailing over into the neighbors yard and/or down the hill. I'm calling it a win.

Resistente, se ve muy bien y se instala rápido
Buen producto, fácil de armar, mi hijo de 8 puede practicar con esta portería de tamaño mediano, es estable, trae muchas cintas para sujetar la red, aguanta bien el balón

Sturdy great product
Looks flimsy when put together but Great product and solid. 15 year old Kid plays competitive Level and is using this net excessively. The net never flipped or broke. Used during Canadian winters and resisted. Yes soccer is played in snow. When you love the game you do what you have to do! Easy to install. The only issue is the Velcro to attach the net, they didn’t last a week so reinforced with cord.

Easy set up. Water gets into posts though
Easy set up. Net decent material. 6yo likes it and it’s the same size of soccer nets at his age.Water does get in. I may put a bead of silicon around the connections to prevent water getting in and rusting from the inside.

Nice, but weak velcro
We really liked this net, but within the first few minutes of my seven year old playing with it, one of the velcro tabs holding the net to the pipes ripped off. I don't know if that means it's poor quality or just that one tab wasn't sewn on well. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up...

Buena estructura
Fácil para montar y desmontar. Buen valor de producto. 4 estrellas porque sería bueno incluir un par extra de anclas (tiene 4), y en lugar de velcro preferiría correas con broches (de latón o lo que sea).
