We just adopted a new rescue and our vet recommended the product that starts with a "G" to help clean her teeth. After looking at the ingredients for "G", I started looking for alternatives and found these excellent Emerald Pet Feline Dental Treats. These treats are "grain-free, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free" and are "made in the USA with US ingredients". The ingredients are those that I am happy to feed our girl, and include chicken, chicken meal, chicken fat, and pea protein. Most importantly, our cat goes absolutely wild for them! I am very happy to have found these dental treats and highly recommend them. In addition, I am thrilled that I can order them on "Subscribe and Save". [My daughter's rescue cat needed to have most of her teeth removed, so the importance of feline dental care should not be underestimated.] Note: I had seen a few comments regarding changes in the product, with some speculating that their product might be "fake" - so I called the company. They were lovely people and told me that, due to COVID, they temporarily had to find a different source for their alfalfa. So no problems; just a small company finding a solution.

We have four kitties - 2 very fussy 1-year olds and 2 non fussy 2-year olds. Of the 4, 3 adored these - 2 of the fussy ones and 1 non fussy kitty. Very pleased with these since I haven't found an ensematic toothpaste the 2 fussy kitties will use. The kitties easily ate these so not too big or hard IMO. If you are having a hard time finding an ensematic toothpaste they will use or tolerate brushing, we highly recommend you try these. They are reasonably priced. If it doesn't work out, then I'm sure your local shelter will appreciate the donation. Thank you emerald pet for creating a grain-free dental treat! We tried another brand that none of our four would touch so I was hesitant to purchase these but so glad I did. Donated hoping other kitties would tolerate. Good luck to all of you! My cat is a very finicky eater, but she usually loves treats. So I thought I would give these treats a try. I was initially impressed with the size of these treats, not small enough that my cat would just swallow them without crunching them and actually cleaning her teeth and not too big that she would have any trouble breaking them up. When I first gave them to my cat, she sniffed them for a bit and walked away . . . usually not a good sign. But I left them in her food dish and she eventually went back to them and ate them later. I would mix these with other dental treats she liked and she would eat around them at first but then always go back and finish these treats off a short time later. She eventually finished this whole package over time and I'm hoping they did the trick in keeping her teeth clean. So if you have a cat that is a finicky eater, these treats might work well for you like it did for me!

My cat likes the flavor of these a lot! But I've noticed he has trouble picking up these little pieces. Maybe because of the flat design? Some other hard cat treats are more rounded. Nice ingredients and good value for the price.

Are cats love them

I was hoping to use these in stead of Greenies since those have a number of ingredients that I normally don't give to my cat. She certainly likes the Emerald treats, but she barely chews them and almost immediately throws up. If they were larger, she would have to chew them more - I did give her a few Greenies and those she did chew a little more. Now I'm hoping that the Greenies won't upset her tummy when I eventually give her as many as my vet wants her to have. My other cat likes the Emerald treats (and keeps them down), so they won't go to waste. Bottom line - I really wanted these to work out; it's a quality product if your cat will chew them enough!

Not sure how much this is benefiting his dental care, but the treats are made with good ingredients, reasonably priced, and my cat goes nuts over them.

Our cat loves these. Been using these treats for years so given them the test of time. She has a sensitive stomach and these seem to be okay for her.

My cat had the worst breath, and I wasting comfortable putting her through the trama of brushing as it is not natural for them. In the wild they chew on branches and such to clean their teeth. I also don’t feed my cat grain and only feed her high end food. So when I was looking for a tooth cleaning treat that fits her diet it was hard. My cat loved these, goes nuts. She’s normally very picky, her breath has already improved a bit (not anywhere near perfect yet) keep in mind it’s only been 1 day!!! These are great treats! I highly recommend!!!

De tres gatitas, sólo a una le gustaron, aunque es la más quisquillosa con la comida. En ocasiones maúlla todo el día para que le siga dando los premios; los tengo que esconder bien para que no se los robe.

Tengo 8 gatitos que hace poco comenzaron con problemas dentales, cepillarles los dientes es muy dificil sin que suframos todos. De todos ellos a 4 de mis gatos les gustó el producto, otros 3 no les interesó y una lo odió, pero en gustos se rompen generos. Los premios huelen igual que los huesos dentales para perro, un poco menos fuerte y el premio es en tamaño y firmeza bastante similar a un premio normal de otras marcas, lo que me gustó ya que ellos son fan de los premios y no quería que se desconfiaran de un tipo de premio nuevo. En general estoy contenta con mi compra

Desde la primera vez que se le dio a la gatita le encantaron, y empezó a pedirlas (casi exigirlas) como parte de su alimentación, por lo que ahora las compramos ya de forma usual. Son como galletitas pequeñas, que se les da tipo snack, unas 10 al día máximo. Eso sí, no son económicas pero el mejor precio sin duda lo he encontrado en línea.
