L'Oreal ParisColour Riche Lipcolour, Make Me Blush, 0.13 Ounce

Make Me Blush is a lipcolour that L'Oreal has discontinued, and it was my very favorite for many years. Thankfully, I was able to purchase a few tubes on Amazon, and my order arrived rather quickly. I only gave it 4 stars because I have not yet tried a tube (all are being stored in the friggie). The color looks fine, same as the one I am currently using. When I do start using an "Amazon" tube, I may post an addendum review. Thanks Amazon!Update Aug 4, 2016: Sorry for the late update. Am on my last tube of Make Me Blush. It's like GOLD! Still my fave color. 5 stars! Price has gone up for less qty. 😞

The wife wears a lot of L'Oreal products, especially lipsticks. She especially likes this Colour Riche "Make Me Blush". It holds its color well, even when blotted. This color is a good blend between a dark pink and a berry, leaning towards a nice mellow purple-ish, brown-ish color, and quite attractive on very fair skin. It seems to match well with any color of clothing. She recommends this particular shade.

They have stopped making this particular colour, but I like the quality of this lipstick, and it doesn't have the yuck chemical taste that some of the cheaper lipsticks have. Make Me Blush is the perfect day-wear colour for me. I wish they still sold it generally. None of the other shades I tried are quite right. It's the second time my favourite colour stopped being sold. Sigh. At least I can still buy it from sellers on Amazon.

This has been one of my favorite shades for a long time and then I started having trouble finding it. I decided to look online and found out that L'Oreal had decided to discontinue #250 Make Me Blush and then I thought of Amazon. I was thrilled to find it still available at a handful of suppliers through Amazon. I bought 4 tubes. It was a quick delivery, cheaper than I ever paid at any store when the shade was still available. Thrilled that I found some tubes :-)

This was light on me. Did not stay on very long so nothing special on this lipstick for me.

Why did L'Oreal depart from lovely, rich, sophisticated shades such as this to the tawdry, neon pinks now in stock? So glad to find my old favorite which perks up my complexion even without other cosmetics. The marketing for the new "La Vie en Rose" may be divine, but the real-world appearance of my old favorite surpasses.

This is my favorite brand of lipstick. I buy it over and over agin. Has a nice texture and great feel. I buy 2 different shades, but this shade works for cheeks as well. I coat some in my palm and dab it on my cheeks with my finger. Dual-function! I get complimented on the color for my lips, too. Hope they don't ever discontinue!

It is what I wanted, a colour I bought in Vancouver last year but could not find in Ireland. So happy I can get this online as it's a great colour for me and the quality of the lipstick is good.

This is the 2nd L'Oreal lipstick I have bought online. I find they are creamy and smooth and retain their colour. Both came well-packed and promptly.
