My little man liked them

I have bought these shoes over and over again, year after year since 2000-2001. I have always loved the feel, fit and look of these shoes. Very comfortable and useful in most situations. I have gotten these in many different colors over the years, but have always had a pair of the basic white with black stripes as my daily shoe. In white they can be a bit hard to keep clean, but if you spend some time and use the right shoe cleaners they will stay looking great.Over the years it seems like the quality has decreased a little bit and I find they don't last nearly as long as they used to. I used to get around 2 years out of a pair before I would have issues with a bubble in the ball of the sole that would pop when you walked. With newer models I seem to only get about 1 year before I start getting some breakdown in the same place. This was the same issue that would happen after 2 years with the old pairs, it just seems to happen a little sooner now, which is disappointing since the prices have gone up year after year and quality seems to get worse.I have also had some pairs where the seams at the shell toe split and separate, but they seem to have fixed this issue in the latest models, but only time will tell.With all of that said, I am obviously not too disappointed in these flaws as I am still buying them over and over again. This is a great and classic shoe design that I hope will never be retired or changed too drastically.

I love the retro look of these sneakers. The rubber toe makes them great for questionable weather. If you have not worn these before, try them on in a store if you can or prepare to return them because they fit a little differently than normal ADIDAS athletic shoes. They are a bit on the wide side of "M" so if you have narrow feet, they may not be the best for you. But if you like the big clonky look of wide sneakers, these will be very cute. You can keep the white leather and rubber clean with regular wipe downs at the end of the day or week. The back heal part is quite cushioned so if you are unsure on your size, maybe order the half size that is a little smaller because they are squishy and will stretch as you wear them. If you order them too big, they will flop off your feet.They are not an elegant look, they are a more cartoonish kind of retro sneaker so if you want something to make your feet look smaller, these really aren't the sneaker for you.They are durable, and will last you a few years of regular wear. If you buy the black color, they will last you even longer as the white gets dirty in the long run despite regular cleanings.

This is must have for any sneaker collector. I love these sneakers. I order them to my true size and they fit right on the money. The cost was very fair but being they are not a hard item to find the price could be a little less. The construction and quality is perfect. But I would question the leather part all day long and of course these are not the flat leather tongue which would make you "walk this way." Trying to get the tru~ originals, good luck with that. I do not know too many cows that are giving up their hides these days for sneakers. But believe me when I say that its rubber all day!

Worked out perfect, everyone knows for shells get a 1/2 size over, if u wear 10 get 10 1/2 to fit comfortably. No brainer for went perfect with my black track suit.

The only reason I didn't give these a 5-star rating was because the first pair I received needed to be returned because of what I can best describe as a production problem. The arch in the left shoe was out of place. It was so far forward it rested under the ball of my big toe. Amazon was terrific, as always, about sending me a replacement. After the new show arrived, my experience with these has been great. Excellent pair of shoes.

Ha! I guess they aren't putting key chains in with the superstars anymore.. A bit pricey from this seller. I've seen them on sale for ~$25 at times. But still, a very nice pair of shoes. Very good for standing, maybe walking. NOT very good for running! Go ahead and order the fat laces (in the appropriate color of course) for them. You'll need about 52" or better. Nothing beats the classics!
