These are good earrings. I didn't know how Small 5 mm were so when I opened them they seemed small in size. They fit right into a standard ear piercing and feel confortable. After you have them in for 3 minutes you could forget they were there. WIth that said, they don't come off easily. They screw in from one side which can be a bit difficult to put in and get used to. I've had this product for about 2 weeks and I can't complain. They don't fall off if you sleep with them. I personally wouldn't wear these earrings for more than 4 days straight without taking them out and cleaning them. However I guess that is standard earring protocol.

Very nice earrings we go here. They look nice and are built nice as well. Some things that need to be pointed out" 1) The rod is slightly larger than your normal earring. So be warned! If you want these, you're going to have to push it through. Like I had to. It'll cause some discomfort. 2) If you have big earlobes, these will most likely not fit you! These are pretty snug on me and I feel like I have normal sized earlobes. 3) These do have a screw back. Not hard to do. Just letting you know. 4) They are small, but they look nice. Not too small but not large. Classy. Like I said, these earring are nice. I took a chance buying them because of some of the reviews that I read, but they ended up look nice and fitting for the most part.

I’ve had these earrings for a long time and the screw back is what got me hooked. Reviewers said the earring is small but they work fine for me since I have “thinner” earlobes, my husband on the other hand would be too small for his ears. I did buy the ones that were the next size up and while they did fit, it was too big “heavy” for my ears. These are the perfect size for me. It’s a great small dainty gauge look versus the bigger masculine ones that sometimes is too much for my petite frame. I love the screw back! I’m a preschool teacher for 2-3 year olds and wearing earrrings is a hazard if the backing happens to fall off. I’ve had it happen where one of my students was curious and touching my black pearl earrings and actually was able to slide my earring off the regular backings. These are perfect since I don’t have to worry about the backing falling off thanks to the screw on feature. They are my everyday work earrings!

I was ripping through the reviews before I bought these damn things to see if ANYONE had a clue as to what gauge they were. Well now that I have them I can tell ya, A fresh "standard" ear piercing (Like at the mall) these earrings will hurt when you put them in. I have 14 gauge piercings and they go in with out even trying. After comparing them to my wife's earrings I figured out that they are too big to be standard 18 gauge BUT too small to be 14 gauge so process of elimination, they are in fact 16 gauge earrings. They look alright BUT they fit VERY snug. What I mean is when you screw the back on your earlobe is squished a bit unless you have rather skinny earlobes these may be worn on rare occasion purely for comfort sake.

These fit my lobes perfectly, but if you have even slightly fat earlobes then these won't work for you. They have a pretty short post to create the appearance of plugs. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are small, but I don't have big ears so they scale nicely on my lobes and they are comfortable to sleep in. Unlike other earrings, they don't poke you when you lay on your side at night or leave you sore by the morning.

Honestly, it was my fault for not reading the the dimensions of these correctly. These are SUPER SMALL. I was looking for fake plugs that were a 0g or similar in size. In gauge terms, these are probably a fake size 6g if that.They are also not comfortable to wear if you have larger earlobes like me. They started to itch after wearing them for a day so I had to take them out.

I've already purchased this ear ring several times as a gift for others and twice for myself. I finally had to get a third set. Once I put them on they stay on and I never take them off. Absolutely love the screw in design. Nothing pikes into your neck while sleeping and for the most part, I completely forget I'm wearing them until I look in the mirror. Absolutely perfect! Great price and definitely worth the investment.

One of them keeps coming loose, like the thread is warped or just faulty. I kept hoping it would stay in even if it can't tighten all the way. It fell out a few times but I always found it and put it back in. Well this time it's gone for good and of course I'm only 10 days past the return window. I bought these over a year ago as well and had the same issue but I had hoped it was a fluke. However, now that it happened again I will never buy these again. I'm quite disappointed. If they weren't faulty I would rate 5 stars.
