Paracord Planet Quick Laces – Elastic Shoe Lacing Fastening System for Athletes, Runners, Children, & Adults on the Go

I really wanted these to work, so I could push off my shoes, and pull the back on. I mostly wear athletic shoes with shoelaces everyday. These laces tips were not spindle shaped or pointed. They were blunt and after a few attempts to push through the tips simply dropped off! Continuing to lace shoes caused the elastic fabric to unravel making it impossible to clip on the tips or push through the guides, this AFTER a very difficult lacing experience. Perhaps I was of another impression, but I did also discover that if the lace was snug enough for walking fast, it was too tight to wear or pull on!

The plastic tips, which are not actually bonded onto the laces were too big for the holes in my Altra shoes. Luckily, they came right off. We had to wrap tape very tightly around the lacing to get it through the holes. Also, my feet are quite narrow and following the directions for how long to leave the laces made them too short to loosen up enough to put on easily the following times. They make my socks bunch up if the socks are thick. The plus side: The shoes fit better than they did with the OEM laces, but I would leave them at least a couple of inches longer next time. They were a perfect match for my grey and purple Altra Women's Provisioness 1.5 Running Shoes.
