VERY HAPPY with them!!!
I know these were meant for ballet dancers but I'm an exotic dancer & bought them anyway because I figured they'd work just fine. And I was right!!! They are snug but not TIGHT, they don't fall or slide down at all, they stay where they need to. They're a good length for me (I'm 5'2"), they fit through my heels just like I hoped!!! Soft & comfy!!!! GREAT FIT for the money :)

Comfy, Inexpensive Legwarmers Hold Up Well
Before I begin, It's probably worth mentioning that I'm a guy (in case there's some other guy out there wondering if it's okay to buy these) and that while, at 5' 8", I'm not *tall,* I do have long legs for my height (31.5"/80cm inseam; 19.5"/49.5cm to mid-knee). My calves are also fairly huge (15.5"/39.5cm" at the widest point). Those factors almost certainly influence fit; I don't think these leg warmers would be as suitable for dancers much taller than I am.TL;DR version:PRO: Warm, light, not bulky, durable, washable.CON: At my size, I suspect I'm about at the upper limit for these. If you're tall, they might not work for you.Anyway! In my ever-expanding collection of legwarmers, I already had the taller version of these, so I knew I would like them.Chiefly, they do their job very, very well, and they seem durable. In fact, I was quite surprised to discover that if my right calf (which I injured a while back) starts to feel tight during petit allegro, I can just slap one of these on, and it helps profoundly almost at once. Likewise, they reduce warm-up time for my rather comically muscular calves, and that (combined with the stirrup feature) helps my feet warm up faster, too. Moreover, they're not bulky -- which is good, because bulky leg-warmers are frankly the very last thing I need when I'm going for a tight sus-sous.Right now, this is my go-to pair of legwarmers, so they see use almost daily and make their way through the wash a couple of times each week.Unlike most of my dance stuff, which I coddle ridiculously, I run these through the tumble dryer -- sometimes on low with my husband's aerials kit; sometimes on medium with regular clothes. So far, there's no sign at all of shrinkage, unraveling, or other damage. They come out soft, fluffy, and ready to wear.Since they're inexpensive, I don't worry about losing them -- though I do think I'll go ahead and buy another pair to keep on hand, because sooner or later I probably *will* lose them (or, rather, I will lose ONE of them, because the universe is a cruel and inhospitable place for a broke dancer).Fit is good: while, on first glance, I immediately thought, "Ha! Not bleeding likely," it turns out that they're elastic enough to be quite comfortable. I suspect, though, that I'm about at the upper limit of their comfort range. Someone with longer legs will probably find them a bit too short; someone with thicker legs might find their elastics too constricting.I *have* noticed that when I wear these with purpose-built mens' ballet tights (which are pretty smooth) they tend to slip down to just below my knees. This may be due to the way I'm built, or it could just be that my tights are slippery. I don't have the same problem when I take class in my mid-calf length jogging tights, short tights (which leave my legs bare to well above the knee), or what have you.Still, even with the slipping thing, they're still really useful legwarmers, and I like them a lot.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware. If you have athletic legs at all, these will be too tight in the upper portion of your leg. Material is soft. However, buyer beware... there is a $3 restocking fee per item, and you cover return shipping on a $9 item. So, it would cost me almost what I paid to return the 2 items that don't fit. Terrible.

Just What I Wanted
Body Wrappers 194 Women's 27" Legwarmers are perfect for me! I'm about 5'7, and my legs are on the spindly side. Finding legwarmers that stay up has proven to be a challenge to say the least. But these stayed up perfectly. They are soft, warm, and not constricting. I wore them for two days, and although they did loosen slightly, it wasn't enough that I worried about them falling down. At this price, I think buying a spare pair would be a good idea. My only *sigh* comes from this: the second day of use, I noticed a snag in the material. A fairly big one. I just knotted it tight, and carried on. Hopefully when I wash them they will come out nice. If you don't see an update to this review, it means that they did. :)

Love the fit and style but NO durability..
After looking at all the reviews I was really hoping to give this a 5 star rating.I wear leg warmers for work so I was so excited to wear these since American Apparel discontinued their leg warmers.I'm about 5'1 and about 105 lbs and these come up above my knees and aren't too tight or loose. The thickness felt "just right", until I noticed started to rip two holes on the second day I wore them.I've tried 3-4 different types of leg warmers and can usually wear them for 2-3 weeks without getting any holes or rips in them so this is very new to me.I might try these again if the material is more durable but won't be buying these again til then.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I use these almost every day! Use it for warm ups and yoga (including aerial). Never slides down. I have thicker thighs and calves, and they're not too tight at all. Perfect length (I'm 5' 1"), and they come just above the knee. Perfect openings in the foot, never slip. I need a pair for every day of the week!

Great fit, perfect amount of warmth
I’m short, I’m talking 5,1” and 103 lbs small and these fit me perfect. They come up a couple inches above my knee and although they don’t really perfectly stay hooked on my heel they do stay where I want them too. Very warm and knitted and exactly what I wanted. But, saying that I do live in southern California so moderate expectations for what I need in terms of warmth compared to what in New York you would like in terms of warmth from these.

I love these and need more!
Finally, I found something I can wear to barre and zumba class. The material is very soft, and I love that these leg warmers come up above the knee (I am 5'5). I do wear these to zumba class and the stirrup locations are perfect for what I do in dance. The fabric under the balls of my feet allow me to turn easily, while having my toes and heels free to add friction when I am in a stationary position. I know that most people would wear these for ballet, but I love that I can use these for multiple classes. They are very comfortable and they fit me as the product claims. I will definitely be ordering more of these!

Could have been higher
Happy with the product, I would have liked for them to stretch a little higher, I have very short legs so if they were not high enough for me then they really are not that high
