LinenTablecloth Jute Table Runner with Fringe Edge, 12.5 by 120-Inch

This is a really refined flat weave (not a thicker type of burlap) with very nice locking stitched edge. It does smell like jute twine, but that goes away in about two days. The approx. 1/2 inch fringe is part of the weave and held place by stitching, instead of being added on. It goes all the way around the runner, and is cut very evenly, and lays very flat. It is a nice natural weave fabric, and fun to use by its self, or over a table cloth. Good size for any longer (84 inch or longer) table. My table is 103 inches; I use a 120 inch tablecloth but could not find the same length runner. I used this over a royal blue gingham check tablecloth to breakup all the patttern. Yes, I would absolutely recommend this runner.

You have to throw it in dryer on steam cycle or steam with your iron to get the creases out. It does have a weird chemical smell to it like some have said but unless you and/or your guest feel the need to put your nose to it and sniff it, you're not going to notice it once placed on table. Overall it looked great and went with the rustic theme of my party

Nice touch to our Thanksgiving table to have a jute runner with simple finished edges. Got several compliments on it as it offset the antique and ornate tablecloth quite well. A tad difficult to iron out the creases from packing, I sprayed fabric freshener on it while ironing to reduce the scent of the jute and that worked well.

Just a plain piece of burlap........I ordered the wrong cloth in my haste. Made great use of it though. I used it to make a ribbon on my gift. To be fair. This is nice if one just wants a plain piece of burlap on a white cloth. I wanted the burlap with the white ruffle to go with burlap cloths. The fabric is really nice.....not rough like a burlap sack.

Next to impossible to iron out wrinkles from being folded. Package looked like it was rolled but it was folded inside.

These are real jute runners. The edges are nicely finished but the small fibers fall off like dust when you unroll them. Best to do that outside.

Perfect size and looks great on the table. Is perfect for any season. Nice weight, not to heavy but sturdy enough to lay flat without bunching or sliding. Adds that little "sometin' sometin' " to your table setting.Let me know if you found this review helpful.
