Wow what can I say about this little blower? This is quite the blower: very powerful and well made. I love it! I used to use a leaf blower but the Metro Blower is much easier and more powerful. The hose is the best quality rubber hose that I have seen you don't have to worry about it scratching the paint if it bumps your car or motorcycle. The tip on the hose is also made of soft rubber. I do recommend purchasing the little dolly with it otherwise I think you would almost have to carry it around by the handle in one hand the carry the hose in the other. With the little dolly it just follows you everywhere you go and has never turned over. I have a small shop with a drain in the floor so a can wash the car, truck and motorcycle inside. With this being said I'm not sure how well it would work if you were outside because the wind would dry it before you could get it blown off maybe. I use it to blow of all my vehicles and my dog. The hotter it is outside the hotter the Metro Vac will blow. It does not heat up the air as some seem to believe it should. The heat comes from the motor as you run it. Even in cool weather it will blow warm air after it has run for awhile. It takes awhile to get used to blowing off your vehicle. You want to start at the top and try to blow in the same dirrection because if you have to change dirrection you will blow water back on what you just dried. You have to keep moving the water with the blower until its all blown off. It does a great job and will blow water out of places you won't get with towel drying. I can wash my Harley and blow it off in about 35 minutes. Hope this helps!

I have been using Metro products for years. This is an excellent product and am very pleased with it. If you plan to purchase the model with the 'Heating Element', this IS NOT it, as I found out after unpacking and trying out. (and is most likely the reason the external and internal packaging looked like it had been returned several times). The Model you will need is 'B-3-HTV-AFBR (114-580850), that also includes variable speed as well. A good, dependable, straight-forward American, Family-Owned product, that have been successful since 1939.

A quality made piece of machinery, Was able to completely wash and dry my Electra Glide in less than an hour. Air hose is long enough to reach around bike when pump placed at one end. Power cord a good length as well. The rubber nozzle tips will not scratch finish if accidental contact is made. Air is reasonably warm, when combined with the high volume air flow output, water literally disappears. Beats the daylights out of a leaf blower. A must for all cyclists.

I couldn't decide between this model and the 8 HP model. I didn't want to get the 4 HP model and then be disappointed with it's performance. I am anything but disappointed...the blower has all the power I need. I use it with the accessory nozzles for blowing the dust out of computers as opposed to those cans of compressed gas - it works great for this purpose. UPDATE: Haven't used this in several years. It's been stored in a clean dry garage. Went to use it today and it put out very little air. Nothing seemed obviously wrong but I opened it up anyway and found a huge mess. Apparently whatever the gasket is made from that makes the unit airtight had degraded into a thick black, sticky tar like substance. Chunks had been ingested into the impeller and the entire interior of the canister is coated. I've spent nearly 3 hours using solvent to try and clean everything up and I still haven't finished. I'll probably have 5-6 hours total invested in trying to clean this out. So word to the wise, unless MetroVac has changed the material they use for this gasket, CHANGE IT OUT periodically. It is cheap enough to replace but once it turns to goo you'll have your hands full cleaning this thing. I almost wish I'd just bought another one but this one has only been used a couple time and they are really overpriced.

This may seem expensive for just a blower to dry your car or motorcycle (there's no vacuum capability) but you get what you pay for. It reminds me of how products were made 30 years ago before everything was made in China. This is made to last a lifetime. They even give you the ability to replace the motor brushes when they become worn. It takes just minutes to blow the water off of a car. It is especially comforting to see it blow all the water out of the nooks and crannies. You'd be surprised how much water is trapped around tail lights and behind the trim. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Bought mine in 2015 when I bought my black 5.0. Pretty much WOULD NOT own a black car (with black wheels) without a blower. Almost 6 years later, it's still cranking like the day I bought it. (I'm actually looking on amazon now to replace the bearings....as they say you should) IN 2015 THIS THING WAS 161....NOW IT'S ALMOST 230!!!! Proof how good it is....it's worth 230. WHY IT'S BETTER THAN YOUR LEAF BLOWER: You're not holding the motor...just a flexible, long, hose with a beautiful "safe for anything" rubber nozzle. Your shoulder thanks you. And so does your car, as you don't have to raise the blower over the fenders, to get the hood. The air goes over the motor, and heats up, so you get filtered, heated air. Again, the rubber nozzle gives you a better blast of air to dry a car than your leaf blower's nozzle. You just look Pro AF using it. LOL

I am very meticulous and anal when it comes to washing and detailing cars. I probably invested around $1,500 in supplies and equipment to take good care of my cars. Up until now, I've been using a leaf blower to dry my car. But due to its excessive noise, I had to consider alternate methods to keep my neighbors calm and cool. The blower I've been using is Toro Super Blower fyi. It seemed insane to spend $200 on a dryer. But it was only a matter of time until I started getting complaints from my neighbors, so I pulled the trigger and got this item. Worst case scenario, I can just return it if it didn't fit my needs. I was a little concerned at first as many people claimed the noise level to be similar to their leaf blowers'. However, I can tell you that this is SIGNIFICANTLY quieter compared to leaf blowers. Noise level is comparable to well made floor vacuums (i.e. Miele). On top of that, the output of air is incredibly strong. There's no need to go with the 8hp one as 4hp is more than enough. What used to take 30 min. with a leaf blower now only takes about 15. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and I will be keeping this for sure. In summary, here are some pros and cons. Pros: - Quieter than expected. Quiet enough to keep neighbors from complaining. - Craftsmanship is excellent. - 4hp output is more than sufficient. 8hp would be an overkill. - Cuts down the labor time by half (15 min. to completely dry a Toyota Camry) - The 10ft hose is more than enough Cons: - Without a dolly, you have to carry it around. It's not that heavy, but after 10 min., your arms do get tired. - The hose is very sturdy. This can be a good thing, but in my case, caused hose to be inflexible. I couldn't move it around as freely as I would've liked to. I had to be careful to keep the hose from scratching the surface/paint. - The electrical cord is not long enough. You will need an extension.

The Metro Air Force Blaster is a great time saver when washing a motorcycle. Previously I used a small air compressor to dry difficult to reach areas. With Air Force Blaster I do a quick wiping of the tank and fenders with a towel and the Blaster takes care of the rest. The Blaster's force is strong enough to get all of the water out of the controls and deep recesses of the engine. It also takes care of the difficult to reach areas of the wheels. The Blaster makes this a quicker, easier job. Great American product that I highly recommend.

I use this Air Force Blaster in drying off my motorcycle after washing. It works great getting off all the water out of the nooks and cranies and not leaving all the water spots when dry. The unit is well built and think it will last me many years.

Saves so much time in drying my harley. Dries without spots if you dry it in the shade. Very satisfied with this product.
