Feminine and functional!
I've moved about in it and sat/lounged in it, currently at 8+ months pregnant, and I'm looking forward to using it in action. I did wash it on cold and dried it about 50 minutes cuz I'm a rebel, and it isn't shorter or tighter than when I tried it on before washing. Fabric is sufficiently thick to not be see-through; it reminds me of apron fabric. Six snaps that go from collar bone to armpit all unsnap so you can fully release the sleeve. Sleeve isn't very long and it's plenty loose to give a view within if arm is raised. Five snaps all down the back, about 8" apart each, to allow full entry or probably plenty of reach even without unsnapping. Very easy to get on and off because of snap options, but then perfectly set when all snapped up, not claustrophobic or tight anywhere. Plenty of overall room in the gown to "spread 'em." :) I'm 6'2" so I'm very glad this L/XL went to my knee. And with my belly just about as big as it's gonna get, there's still inches of room at the waist just in case. It has just enough added feminine charm to give me a boost of confidence and why not have a little extra of that to take into the delivery room!

Amazing Must Get!
This gown is amazing itโs so comfortable and soft to wear! I had an emergency c section and had to be in the hospital for 6 days and I couldnโt be more happy in it! It opened in the front on each side so if you needed to do skin on skin for babies or tests doctors needed done it was super easy to open! Sleeping didnโt affect me from the snaps on the back didnโt even know they were there. Every nurse commented how cute and functional it was. Definitely felt better wearing this rather the itchy hospital gowns! Must get!!

Perfect in Every Way!
Iโve been wanting to buy one of these since I was pregnant with my first baby (5 years ago)! I finally caved and bought one of these cute gowns after finding out I was having my first baby girl after two boys. I ordered one size larger (I normally wear mediums) because Iโm only 5 months pregnant and still growing, and I LOVE having all of this extra room. Thatโs just a personal preference though. Functionally, this is great! It completely opens in the back and is held together with 5 snaps, so it provides complete coverage, but still makes it easy for the doctors to access your back if they need to. Thereโs also 6 snaps on each side in the front of the gown that completely exposes your arms and shoulders. It creates a handy little pocket to fit your newborn baby for breastfeeding or baby cuddles. With all the snaps this gown has, itโs perfect if you need to get completely undressed to shower and you still have your IV and/or other monitors on you. Thatโs completely necessary, especially if you have to be on hospital bedrest before your baby arrives! Overall, Iโm very impressed with the quality and the cost of this gown. Itโs really beautiful and I feel so pretty when Iโm wearing it (and even at this stage, I feel everything but pretty at the moment). I canโt wait to wear this when my baby girl arrives in a few months!

It fits nicely in the shoulders and arms and I can tell ...
I am 5'5" 170 pounds at 21 weeks pregnant. I ordered a L/XL in the "Helen Gownie" shade. It fits nicely in the shoulders and arms and I can tell there is plenty of room for a large belly to grow underneath which is great. The sleeve buttons for breastfeeding DO unbutton all the way open, contrary to what the picture shows. This is a good thing, because it will make breastfeeding easy. Everything was made nicely, with high quality stitching and buttons. The only reason I put a 4/5 is because it is not as soft as I expected it to be. The fabric is a clean, smoother version of what you would get in the hospital. The fabric is the same type of cotton. I was expecting something a bit more luxurious on the skin, but it is still soft. Also, the color (of Helen Gownie) is not light pink as the picture shows, but more of a light-medium lilac/lavender. It is still a very pretty color. The pattern is pretty and just as pictured. I plan on changing into this right after I have the baby so that I don't get nasty stuff on it during the birth! I'm looking forward to having something nice to wear while getting pictures taken with my newest cutie.

Love this gown
I loved this gown and wore it for the birth of my daughter. It is a perfect material. It is beautiful and I got a ton of compliments on it from the nurses and doctors. Itโs easy to take off and to put on, and was super easy to breastfeed with it on because the snaps are in the right places in the front. It was completely comfortable the entire time, even on my back for the epidural, and none of the snaps hurt and couldnโt feel them at all. I would definitely recommend this over and over again.

Great hospital gown - consider ordering two
This is the second gown my wife bought and she loves it. Great fabric (bright and soft) and flattering length and fit (doesn't ride up too high when she sits or lays down.) She's currently 146 lbs and bought the large. At the end of her first pregnancy she was 180 lbs and also fit the large just fine so there's definitely room for a growing belly. The snap buttons are secure but easy to use to nurse. Much nicer than the bland hospital gowns (looks nicer in pictures too.) If you are considering ordering your first gown, my wife recommends getting two. With our daughter, my wife was in labor for over 2 days and by the time baby was born, the gown was a complete mess and we didn't have time to launder it before pictures so my wife was very bitter over the fact that she was wearing a hospital gown in the hospital pictures. Get two so you can look nice during and after delivery she says.

Didnโt need to pack any other clothes as I ended up only wearing this for my 5 day stay in hospital. Nice and loose and comfy. Perfect for new mothers trying to juggle breastfeeding, post birth, newborn baby and all the constant check ups by nurses and doctors. Also a very pretty pattern.

i love love love it! comfortable and well cut... not so bothered about nurses and other mums observing the lack of dignity, we're all in the same boat but now have peace of mind i wont be flashing to all the other dads wandering around the hospital! feels a bit less 'clinical' too & i get to still get to keep a bit of my individuality through the whole process. i plan to cut a square of the material afterwards before i bin it and keep it in the baby keepsake box along with the baby tags and their first outfit etc.. just an idea for the sentimentals out there :)

I found this purchase very good and helpful. I am fully satisfied, even I ordered the cheapest model colour. It fits good and has good quality. It could seems to someone that material is too hard, but I like it, it is not very thin and tearing. I am still pregnant, so I am waiting for the moment I can try it in labour process and after :-)

My mother is breast cancer sufferer and I have been looking for something practical for a while. These gowns allow my mother to be dressed easily and give the medical staff that take care of her access to her wound. It would be good if the gowns tied at the back as my mother is elderly and there is a risk of pressure sores. That being said it is the best solution by far so thank you for a great well made product that was delivered quickly.

Open back is great for the delivery. However, it may make it dirty. When spending many days in hospital with a preemie it was great to cover up around many people. Colour, style and size was great, worth the price!
